1st off I couldn’t make up my mind if I was going to go fishing or not when my wife and I came to SPI for our anniversary. I called and talked to Michael Walker and asked if he had a spot for a single over a couple of days period with basically 2 days notice. He called me back twice a day to update me and he was able to fit me in with a group.
Captain Stephen and Jefe were super great to fish with. We were on a 12 hour trip so the first 2 hour or so and last are just traveling. I sat up top quite a bit with the Captain and he answered all my questions happily that he probably gets asked every trip. The fishing was super fast in spurts and we caught Bonitos, Mahi-Mahi, Black Fin Tuna, and I got a Wahoo. Jefe is an amazing deck hand, he is fast and funny, and just doesn’t get tired. After all of the guests were worn out after about the 8 hour mark Jefe was still laughing and ribbing us and trying different baits.
Overall I couldn’t have had a better time. From the owner, to the captain, to the hand they were great.

We have done many fishing charters at various locations around the coast of the US. Wow, Captain Mike Walker knows his stuff, best fishing captain we have ever had. His deck hand is fast, polite and a true fisherman! If we were not getting hits, Capt Mike would say pull it it, we are doing something different. We got a 99 lb Grouper, 81 lb Amber Jack, 45 lb Amber Jack and a small Wahoo!!! The boat is big and comfortable, it is older but we don't need fancy, just FISH! Highly recommend!

You can always tell how great a company is by how they do customer service. Captain Mike had to cancel due to weather and big seas. But he went out of his way to find us another charter that fit our vacation dates. This is a very classy guy. If you want to be around the best kind of person when out on a boat all day it is this guy. Thank you Captain Mike. I'll see you in October for sure.

Took my wife and daughter. First time for all of us. Amazing to watch the hand-signals & teamwork between them. Ricky had some great stories as we trawled. Then, when fish were on the line, it was total business and great coaching! Especially good for first-timers who may be intimidated to go deep sea fishing.

Captain Stephen Morrell convinced me to go ahead and spring for an overnight trip to Perdido. The weather didn't cooperate so we couldn't do the over nighter but he took us on a 12 hour trip and killed it! As soon as we started trolling we started consistently catching Blackfin Tuna after starting out with a Dorado. Then he took us to a wreck where we started to bottom fish for snapper. Just before limiting out on snapper we got caught in a huge school of Dorado! It was pure madness! They coming from everywhere! The crew knew just how to handle it! They started throwing in small chunks of bait and handed us spincasters. We pulled a dozen of those Mahi Mahi out of the water in about 15 mins! Then we went back to trolling and saw 4 sail fish! 3 of them got away but we got one in the boat for pictures and had it back in the water for a successful release! Before we wrapped it up for the day I hooked into my first Wahoo! It was an epic trip! I'll never fish with another crew again! Captain Stephen Morrell is the fish whisperer!

We went out with Salt Walker in Sept and found a sargassum line just after the hurricanes. Capt Walker put us on the fish and we killed it pulling in so many Dorado it was crazy. I live here and my buddy from Cali was so impressed he is working on closing on a house in PI and bringing his offshore boat over. I fear it will take us forever to reproduce the results we had this day fishing with the pros. Will never forget this day!

Mike was great and we had a lot of fun! We caught lots of fish! We were on a family trip with my 90 year old father and he had a great time!
