Stayed here with just our family. We didn't go home this year. The snowbirds put on a big Thanksgiving potluck meal for everyone in the park. It was a lot of fun. The beach was great too though weather wasn't nice very often due to time of year.

We love going to Isla Blanca Park from KOA with our bikes. Overall the bike path is awesome till you get into the crowded areas. Some people don't know the proper thing to do when a bike is coming. Enjoy laying in the sun. Overall a clean beach.

We had a great time at this park. There is a lot to do. I wish they had recycling cans (there is no recycling pickup on the island) along with regular trash cans. It's the best beach on the island, but still could use more trash cleanup. Still it was a great day, and great fun!

The best thing about the park is the HUGE pavilions with plenty of shade, tables, snack bars, and bathrooms. The beach is nice, but can be enjoyed anywhere else on the island for free. If you walk on the beach to the park, you can avoid the entrance fee.

i would like to park my rv there but it seems the park employees make it so difficult, if you didnt have a spot there prior and if you got lucky enough to get one last summer, you still have to wait for the former renter cancels its just all so confusing. we are tax payers in cameron county and... Isla Blanca Park is located at the southern end of South Padre Island. It's a great place to watch the wildlife, view ships coming in the channel, fish along the jetties or simply hang out on the beach. The park is county owned and charges a fee for entry.

It costs ten dollars just to drive into Isla Blanca Park, but you can also park somewhere else and walk in....is a long walk though. The beach here is nice, big and sandy. The rock jetty goes out almost a mile, and the fishing off it can be excellent. My son caught a huge King Mackerel off the end of... More

$10 day pass. Sandy beach. Jettie was neat to see. Several people fishing. Bait shop close to jettie. Lots of trash laying around, sad to see. Great view of the rest of the island. Several people walking their dogs and riding bikes. Paved roads. Statue of Jesus is lovely. It stands in remembrance of sailors lost at see. Plenty of... More

We camped in our pop-up camper at Isla Blanca Park while visiting South Padre Island over Memorial Day 2016. I searched and searched for somewhere for us to stay and this is what I found. I called and they told me they didn't take reservations, that it was first come, first serve and that it would be fine because they... More
