Nice mural

Felt like we were back in Hawaii! Very nice mural; worth stopping by on your way to the "end of the road" or the convention center.

I enjoy going over to the convention center every time we visit Padre Island, and it's just to see that beautiful and unique paining of the Orcas.

This is located at the convention center. We were not able to hang out long outside the center due to the oppressing humidity. This is a nicely painted mural, and there is another located on the property of a large hibiscus. Cool place for a photo op. The center backs up to the Birding Center and there is a wooden walkway... More

This was such a nice photo op and very quick as well! The wall itself is very huge so you can easily fit a huge family in one picture!

Just a painting wall. If you by any chance pass by during the sunset, I recommend you can stop and take pictures there. Otherwise, it is not a MUST place.

This is a great stop. We walked the trails and took pics here and it's free. I would definately recommend this for families visiting with small kids.

Really beautiful. And it's free. Located at the convention center and has a nice nature walk. The mural is beyond artistic. Especially if your a whale lover.

We went to this wall for the photo op. It's a whale painted life size on a large wall. Interesting to see how big they really are. Colors were very vibrant!

It was nice to see this had been beautifully repainted (and signed) since we were here in 2005. It's great that the community sees the value in maintaining this beautiful artwork.

The Whaling Walls are by the side of the Convention Center and near the parking area. It is so beautiful and so relaxing to look at and very well kept. There are three walls painted with orcas, dolphins, turtles and fish. It makes you feel like you are in the water with them. They were painted by the well known american... More
