Highly recommend this experience!! Jibber had tons of equipment options and was extremely accommodating to multiple skill levels. He was really friendly and knowledgeable, all around great guy. Coming in to switch rigs was quick and easy. The park you sail out of is amazing, warm shallow water, high winds with little chop so you can go on speed reaches easily. We would definitely come back again, a highlight of the trip for sure!

This is by far the best price we found on SPI for kayaking! It may not have the frills of a fancy floating dock or light up kayaks, but the location is great if you want to go to the bridge and out the Gulf or if you want to head up the the island to look at the houses or explore the bay. We rented two single kayaks for half a day and ended up kayaking up the bay for about 2.5 hours before we got tired and turned in. Jibber, the guy who runs it, is amazing. He was super flexible when we had to cancel because we were sick and when we rescheduled he was nice enough to ask if I was feeling better and recommended a pharmacy! He's very laid back and knowledgable. In conclusion, great guy, great equipment, great price, great location, can't go wrong!

My husband and I have always wanted to try windsurfing and Jibber was a very knowledgeable and patient instructor. The wind picked up a lot halfway through the lesson in the water but he was still able to give clear instructions and we both made good progress. It was seriously a lot of fun but also a lot to think about, but Jibber’s voice carries well and reminded us about things we were forgetting. We will definitely be back for another lesson with Jibber.

We took our first lesson in wind surfing with Jibber. He took his time breaking it down and letting us try on a nice calm day. He had us practicing getting on the board, pulling up the sail, and making turns. I recommend him for lessons if you want to learn the sport.

Jibber makes South Padre Island windsurfing so fun and easy. He knows what size rig is best for you and sets you up and sends you out onto the nice warm waters of the Laguna Madre. He also has bikes, kayaks, and even lodging available. Fun, friendly times.....
