Blast To Cast Guide Service is a full time/year round fishing and hunting guide service located on South Padre Island, Texas. Offering both half day(5hr) and full day(8hr) private fishing charters targeting redfish, speckled trout, flounder, and snook. Amateur and avid anglers are welcome, especially kids and families. Blast To Cast also offers duck, dove, hog, or turkey hunts for those interested

We are avid fishermen who were looking for a great day drifting the flats for reds and trout with an expert...to fish a little different than we normally do back at home. MIKE was AWESOME. Not ideal conditions and he still put us on a lot of fish! We limited out on trout, including a big girl trophy and then hunted down some reds in super shallow water where my boys both pulled in their personal bests at just under 28” each! Mike was fun, very experienced, and most likable! Great day on the water and will call him again when we return!

We went out today 7/28/2020 We got out limit of Trout in the first hour. We also hot rained on, but we kept on fishing per our request. We caught a few Red Fish. We had a blast! Can't wait to go again. We highly recommend Captin Mike! Very nice man and he knows where the fish are!

Mike's service was perfect - organized, friendly, and fun. He communicated well and we got out on the water before other boats. We caught our limit in trout withing an hour and then had fun hunting around for redfish. We'll definitely use his service again the next time we visit South Padre.

If you’re looking to catch fish at South Padre Island, call Mike Knox. I’ve caught fish on his boat in January, July & October. Mike knows the bay and works hard to put you on fish! Thanks for always providing a great time!

Had another great day of fishing with Capt. Mike Knox. Mike worked hard to put us on the fish. This was our 4th trip with Mike and every trip has been exceptional. We will definitely book another trip with Mike.

My family and I have been fishing with Mr.Knox many times. We always catch a lot of fish and have a great time! He is an experienced and knowledgeable guide. During our recent trip out in the bay with Mr. Knox .....after catching our limit of trout.....He drove the boat around the bay and we saw a variety of sea life. -Including shark, dolphins, and sea turtles. So not only is it a fantastic fishing trip, it is also a way to enjoy the outdoors with your family.

All three of us limited out on trout on our first hole! Then moved on to reds and had an overall great time. Mike was very professional and entertaining. Would book again and recommend.

Fished with Mike on Feb.14th 2019. Although conditions were less than ideal with wind and cloudy skies Mike used his experience to find fish. Had a great time catching numerous trout and a black drum.

My family and I had a wonderful time fishing with Mike Knox in the Laguna Madre. He was knowledgeable, professional, and really good with the kids. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to go fishing while on South Padre Island.

My son and I took a recent trip to South Padre July 5-9 and although it rained most of the time ( and flooded ) it was saved by the most AWESOME fishing experience we have EVER had !!! Mike was not only patient, but he watched the weather radar and picked the BEST time to head out. We never got wet !! The conditions were perfect and the catching was even BETTER. Mike knew exactly where to go and there they were !!! We caught our limit and it TASTED even better !! Thanks Mike ! We will be back !!

Costs vary depending on how many people go fishing. 2 person half day (5hrs) private fishing charter is $425, 3 person half day is $500, or a 4 person half day is $575. That includes all fishing tackle, gear , live bait, ice and bottled water.
