Had our son's 13th birthday party here in conjunction with the City Hall Cinema! It was clean and fun for all ages! We did cake and punch, and it was a great way for the kids to expel energy! We go back often!

The Sound Garden is a great place to stop and visit. Our kids have had a couple of birthdays at the City Hall Cinema and there first stop is always the Sound Garden! They love exploring each element and it is fun for both my 9 year old and 11 year old. It is definitely worth the visit!!

This small but delightful “Sound Garden” is fun for all ages. It has 6 outdoor musical instruments, that can be heard being played several blocks away. Also has 7 large flower beds with plants ranging from perennial to annual flowers but largely populated with drought tolerant plants. This is a great asset to our town as well as the Whiteside Museum of Natural History directly across the street.

The Seymour Sound Garden is a wonderful asset to our community.
For small children there aren’t a lot of hands on activities to do, and this provides them a space to be outdoors, have fun, and stay busy!
Love that it’s centrally located and across from the museum. Anytime we need a space to stop in and play, this is one of our top choices!

Took my nephew here when he came to visit from Louisiana. He had a blast. It is right across the street from the dinosaur museum and everything his hands on. He wanted to go back twice more during his visit with us during that week and we accommodate him. It is free to visit this area and a great place to sit and watch children or family have fun

Across the street from the dinosaur museum, this park has large tone instruments of pipe and chimes that every age can play. The large covered picnic area has tables and seating overlooking the gardens and the musical sculptures. We all had fun making music - ages ranged from 65 to 2!
