Had a chance to visit this museum during a business trip to the area and our expectations were exceeded. A ton of local artifacts and materials including actual artifacts and relics and informational ghost towns. Top that off with a great volunteer tour and we had a grand time staying for about 2 hours. Thank you for having this museum in town.

rural Texas county museum with very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable volunteer staff who assisted our family reunion group looking for information on Seymour ancestors.

This museum is a great place to get information about families that lived here or those buried in the cemetery. They have lots of interesting pieces to look at, but the stories they know and have available to the public is probably their largest asset.
