There is likely more individual Art here per SQ mile than there is in Dallas Texas. Peering deeper into where this art came from, who the artist are, and how it got to where it is today you would be intrigue, surprised, and leave with an appetite for more of the story. There is a story within a story and a flair of culture with far reaching tentacles encompassed in a small fishing town 20 miles from the gateway to shipping lanes around the world. In addition just 20 miles away to the north east is Indinola, Tx with even more historic culture. Give yourself a full day to discover it all and pack a lunch to enjoy the sun, the bays, and the sea not to mention the local flair.

I visited the art center after hours so my review is based on the outdoor sculpture garden and building itself. It was very unique and I did enjoy it. The sculptures photographed beautifully and the building is a novelty! I am very glad I got to stop by and it was accessible right off of the main road. Next time I hope to be able to explore the inside. Very charming sight
