We were not sure about this at first, but so glad that we went. There is a small aquarium inside that is interesting. TU students working inside were very informative. They offered an inexpensive glass bottom boat tour on the lake and we were all for it. There were 30 minute and 45 minute tours. The lake is beautiful (small)... More

On the way back from Dick's garage I thought to drop into Meadow Springs and have a go at the glass bottomed boat tour. The students from State of Texas U manage the service and and are very interesting and friendly. I went for the 45 minute tour and that was much quieter than the 30 minute tour. The water... More

Very interesting boat tour. If you're hard of hearing be the first in the boat as the ooohs and aaahs will drown out the student tour guide. Glass bottom of boat is cool with comfortable seating and padded edges to make viewing comfortable. It's $9.50 per adult with discounts for children and military. The tour is only 25 minutes which... My family stopped here, while we were road tripping through Texas and it was a fun time. The glass bottom boat ride was much more entertaining than I thought it would be. The water is exceptionally clear and you can see the water coming up from the ground. You can also see fish and the remains of an archeological dig.... More

My family and I went on the glass bottom boat tour and absolutely loved it. The water and surroundings are beautiful. Our tour guide was really fun, informative and answered all of our questions. Being able to see the natural springs and all else that happens underwater was a really neat experience.

We took the 30 minute glass bottom boat tour and our kids (12, 10, 5) enjoyed it. There is also a small free aquarium of some of the under water life found in the springs. Good for about 1 hour with the tour.
