Must see for car buffs but very interesting for the general public as well. You will not be bored. The place is clean and well laid out. They have a few in the back you can see that are not ready for the showroom. You can just see them through the garage door. They are also roped off to keep... More

I stopped in today to check it out for an event for my company, Katya was very accommodating and showed me around. They have some beautiful cars and they are all American made, from a 1901 Olds won by a 5 year old in a World's Fair nickel raffle to a Tucker. Very nicely displayed and just gleaming! Truly worth... We first visited the Central Texas Automobile Museum when it was in Rosanky. It has now moved to San Marcos and is still a must-see place for automotive nuts. Cars on display and in perfect condition range from the early 1900s through the 1950s. There is also quite an exhibit of Dick Burdick’s rally trophies and a large collection of... More

A wonderful collection of American automobiles. So much chrome and polish it almost hurts your eyes. But seriously a magnificent collection and a credit to the museum

Even if you are not a car fan, this place will interest you. Lots of variety - and you can get very close to the cars. I was amazed.

I never thought I'd have the chance to see and be close to such american classics. Visiting from the UK and with the weekend spare was looking for something to do not too far from Austin. About 45 mins drive from Arboretum area. Very warm welcome from the girls at reception and the museum was very quiet, like a great... More

During a stay in Austin we made the short trip to San Marcos to visit Dick's Classic Garage. It was easy to find and what a find it is! There is room after room of classic cars and other period memorabilia to take in. The cars and some trucks too are in perfect condition and are just simply beautiful. It... More

Our teenage son loves cars and Dick's did not disappoint him. The cars were in perfect condition and were presented in a timeline of the American automotive industry. The first electric car, the Stanley Steamer and the classic Cadillac with signature tail fins were some of our son's favorites. Who knew that Nash made a sedan where the front seats... More

We stopped as a reward for my patient husband after a morning outlet mall trip. We all enjoyed the museum which houses a nice collection of rare vehicles thru the late 1950's. We spent about an hour and enjoyed some of the rare factoids shared about each vehicle. Be sure to pick up a pamphlet at your hotel for a... More

LOTS of great, well maintained classics. Most from the US but also from Europe. This is a must see for anyone who appreciates the classics. And, the facility is tops.
