My husband thoroughly enjoyed touring the classic car exhibit that was in pristine condition and spent a few hours here talking with the owner

Very nice collection of rarely seen cars that are all in pristine condition. My wife was fascinated with the cars because the plaques give a brief history of the car and many times the previous owners. Right off I-35 so its a nice stop to breakup a trip. Over the years I've been to a lot of museums and car... More

We make a point of finding any local auto/transportation museums while we are vacationing and this is one of the finest we've seen. I'm not nearly the car buff my husband is, but I found plenty to look at in addition to the cars. I even sat for quite a while in the cutout back end of a car watched... More

Must see for car buffs but very interesting for the general public as well. You will not be bored. The place is clean and well laid out. They have a few in the back you can see that are not ready for the showroom. You can just see them through the garage door. They are also roped off to keep... More

I stopped in today to check it out for an event for my company, Katya was very accommodating and showed me around. They have some beautiful cars and they are all American made, from a 1901 Olds won by a 5 year old in a World's Fair nickel raffle to a Tucker. Very nicely displayed and just gleaming! Truly worth... We first visited the Central Texas Automobile Museum when it was in Rosanky. It has now moved to San Marcos and is still a must-see place for automotive nuts. Cars on display and in perfect condition range from the early 1900s through the 1950s. There is also quite an exhibit of Dick Burdick’s rally trophies and a large collection of... More

A wonderful collection of American automobiles. So much chrome and polish it almost hurts your eyes. But seriously a magnificent collection and a credit to the museum

Even if you are not a car fan, this place will interest you. Lots of variety - and you can get very close to the cars. I was amazed.

I never thought I'd have the chance to see and be close to such american classics. Visiting from the UK and with the weekend spare was looking for something to do not too far from Austin. About 45 mins drive from Arboretum area. Very warm welcome from the girls at reception and the museum was very quiet, like a great... More
