The most beautiful Visitors Center in the State. The center in itself has become an attraction. Great place to start your visit to this great City. Very friendly and knowledgeable volunteer staff can give you great directions to places to see, The Visitors Center is located along the River Walk with the main North bound HWY 87 on one side... It's hard to rate something as basic as a visitor's center higher than average, but given that the city of San Angelo went out of their way with the landscaping, I felt it was warranted. The building seems pretty new, the restrooms are clean (not always a given for public restrooms), the inside is filled with information, the workers were... More

A great visitors center that is beautiful, welcoming, and a great source of information about things to do in the San Angelo area. Convenient parking. Close to major roads in San Angelo. I found out many things to do in this area.

Beautifully located. Go out visitor area to the river. Walkway to river is rocky and there is the sheep decorated like all the others in town.

Stopped here to get a few maps and ideas for trip. Staff was very friendly. Answered my questions and gave me ideas seeing town. Walked out back to a beautiful walkway on a river. Well worth the stop.

This center is situated between the roads going thru San Angelo. The river crosses in front of it with the roads going over. Think one road is Highway 87 or Bryant Street. There's restrooms there but they lock them up when they close the office. The building is nicely landscaped with walkways & gardens. There's also sculptures nearby near the... More

We walked the trails around the center and enjoyed looking at all the art work which was in great detail of old Volkswagen cars and old trucks that had places to sit.
