Dr. Sonntag does an excellent job on presenting information of our night sky. I have taken my first grade class and we have also been to some of the events he has in the summer. Very educational! We love it!

The ASU Planetarium offers great programs and most are free. We has attended a great program on earthquakes and also one on stars. Will worth an hour if your time. Very nice facility.

This planetarium is a small one but it's a pretty good one with great seats. The planetarium shows different movie selections and astrological shows as well. Just keep an eye out for when the ASU student organizations show these shows and or movies. It's pretty neat & you can also bring outside food too to enjoy you.

I didn't have much of an expectation for the planetarium because San Angelo is a small town. It was pretty cool. If you like Stars and Space it is a must see on a Thursday night. Shows change every month and they show two one hour programs back to back. Kids as young as toddlers were there. Please note it... More

Take the time to visit this place. It is world class and hard to believe that we can have something like this in San Angelo. One of the best in the country!

A great planetarium located on the campus of ASU. Lots of theatre style seating. Video programs are always informative. The viewing of the night sky is very, very realistic.

I have been visiting the Angelo State University Planetarium since grade school and have always found it an interesting adventure. Shows vary from month to month and may discuss anything from Super Volcanoes on our very own Planet Earth to dusty star clouds eons beyond our reach. Great for young scholars and adults alike!

The ASU Planetarium is a unique, inexpensive opportunity/experience for the entire family. Located at Angelo State Univeristy on Rosemont Ave; this exhibit is presented on Thursday evenings. There are two separate showings of a pre-recorded educational piece on astronomy set to a movie type setting and projected on a 360• view screen. The first showing is around 6:30 pm; each... More

Not many people realize that the planetarium is open to the public of an evening on Thursday and Friday while college is in session. My Kiddos LOVE to go star gazing indoors on cold evenings. Just take a seat, lean back, and enjoy the show/lesson. There is a small fee of 3 or 4 dollars per adult, but there are... More
