About
Ever since he was just 10 years old, captain Scott has had a passion for sailing. So much so, that he hand-built his own ship, Seawolf, to share his favorite experience with the rest of Texas. When you and your date step on board one of our relaxing cruises of Lake Ray Hubbard, you’ll not just be met with calming, natural beauty, but with Scott’s charming personality. As a former Rockwall mayor, he’s been making a difference in the town for years. So bring some drinks, bring some friends, and join our experienced team of sailors for an unforgettable trip.

What a beautiful evening to remember. A Starlight cruise With Captain Amy and Jackson. She certainly knows her business, and Jackson was equally as personable and helpful as she was. The lights From The Harbor were glistening on the water as she told us a story of the “Seawolf”… The experience of having a woman Captain was quite different than The storybook tale of a Grumpy Ole Pirate. My granddaughter just loved Captain Amy, and the chance to help steer. She called her the Pretty Pirate. Everything was perfectly timed, and was it very enjoyable evening. I would highly recommend the sunset or starlight Cruise on the “Seawolf” to anyone.

Had company coming so wanted to do something on the lake…found them with internet search chose Seawolf because it’s a sailboat. Crew was friendly but professional with focus on safety. We were lucky had wind so they used sails it was very relaxing and fun. Will do the sunset cruise next!

Everything was great! Booking was super easy. Then our trip was cancelled due to high winds and we were offered a refund or raincheck. We rescheduled for the following week and were given a gift card code that made it ever so simple to rebook. From helping on the phone to manning the boat on the sail night, the staff was tops in all regards!

My husband and I booked a date night on the Seawolf to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. You guys this boat and the crew on it were so perfect! They truly do go out of their way to make it a date night experience not to forget. We sailed by wind and had the most beautiful sunset to view while feeling the best lake breeze. You feel transported to another place while relaxing, sipping wine (we brought our own bottle) and listening to music as you sail past the beautiful mansion estate homes that adorn the lakeshore. We truly felt like in that hour and a half sail that we were somewhere far away on vacation. Don't think twice about booking this boat for your next date night. My husband and I are already looking forward to going back!

This sunset cruise never disappoints. I started cruising with Scott on his original boat and his cruises just keeps better and better. If I were to complain it would be that he sells more tickets than he has comfortable space. If you arrive late or last then you end of sitting in a cramped area squeezed in between other passengers.

I love the history of this boat and the passion put in to it's building. I was in town to visit my grandkids and booked this for us. It's the only cruise recommended for children. You don't know who you're going to ride with & we really weren't happy with who we had to cruise with. A huge kids birthday party ensemble, and another family of 4 that were loud and never stopped talking for the entirety of the ride, in a foreign language. It truly was just a ride out and back. I was hoping for something a little more interesting with information about the lake, the surrounding land, Scott's adventures, anything. Captain and crew member were very friendly, but not interactive. Overall, I should have spent the money on something more enjoyable for the grandkids. I would imagine the adult cruises are much more enjoyable.

We drove out here from Fort Worth on recommendation from our friends for a nice birthday date. I thought the experience, while a little pricey, was great. It was worth the drive. I imagine the reason it's a little pricey is due to the fact that this is a hand-built sailboat, so it's a unique experience. And it's definitely more of a couples or small family vibe. At least for the sunset cruise.
The team did a great job enforcing social distancing rules, and they were fun and engaging. Beware because with it being the Texas summer, it can get hot having to keep your mask on (unless you're eating or drinking). However once the boat gets going you get a wonderful breeze. It had to have been upper 90s/low 100s and we felt fine once you have the lake breeze and a cold beverage (they provide water if you don't bring your own beverages).
Overall, I think I would do this again if we were closer or if it were a tad cheaper (I felt slightly misled because the cruise was 'advertised' as $35/pp but ends up being $45/pp + tax and gratuity. But regardless, as a one time experience, we loved it. It definitely makes you forget for a little bit that you're still in Texas. Thank you guys for a fun and memorable experience!

I have a passion for sailing and woodworking so the Seawolf was love at first sight. I’m so thankful to have had numerous conversations with Scott before his passing. He was so willing to share details about the two years it took to build this fine catamaran. His passion and enthusiasm was very contagious. Scott estimated that he had sailed with around 110,000 people in 12 years of operation so he will be missed by many.
Scott would be pleased that someone who knew and cared about him and his boat is continuing the Seawolf tradition. Amy Lee was a real asset as first mate and now an excellent choice for captain. Her pleasant personality and enthusiasm is one big reason I keep coming back.
The sunset sailing on Seawolf has become a regular activity for our outdoor group. The North Texas Outdoor Meetup group is always looking for fun events and this is one of our favorite. We sailed only 4 days ago and folks are already wanting me to schedule another. I’m looking forward to many more great times and a long relationship with Seawolf and her crew.

Sail was excellent. Crew took care of the entire guests with joy and welcomed everyone well. Could do better with the lighting, may be can switch on the lights for about 10 minutes when we are at the center of the lake. Apart from that, everything else was great.

We LOVED our experience on the Seawolf! What a beautiful catamaran and lake to sail. The sunset cruise was perfect for my husband and I - we are 8 months pregnant decided this was safer than a 7-day cruise. The captains created the perfect atmosphere for our “babymoon” while others enjoyed time with friends and significant others. We will certainly be back!

If we book during week like on a Tuesday do you cancel the cruise if there are not enough people booked?

We always go on the sunset cruise. The Daytime and moonlight cruise has a six-person minimum.

You can bring anything (legal) that you’d like! 👌🏼
How much do you charge?

It's $30 + online fee & tax for a 90 min sail. Completely worth every penny especially since you can bring your own food and drink/alcohol! Best deal in town.

What is the minimum group size? Wondering if it has to be 10 or if 3 of us can join a group already booked for tomorrow?

The group size can be 1 to the whole boat. Just depends on how many spots are left.
are there any handicap accommodations, I currently use a walker, but would love to sail on the lake with you all.
