Great selection of beer. Had trivia the night we visited which was lots of fun. Wish they had some munchies.

Great atmosphere, beer & food
Feb 2019 • Couples
Hemisphere Brewing Co. is a great place to go for wonderful beers and amazing food. We love the atmosphere. A real bonus is the food provided by Mingling Mouth. Between the atmosphere, the beer and food you will have a great time.

Has the makings for greatness

Micro breweries are my sweet spot. I love them. The people working their are almost always invested in the beer and take pride in showing off their skills, knowledge and product. I don't get that here.

The micro brewery is in a small yellow warehouse just off I-30 in Rockwall. The tap room is a fun atmosphere with picnic tables, stone bar, and live stage for music. They have twelve beers on tap and one root beer. I like the breadth of offerings from IPA, Kolsch, and grisette to English Ale, Stout and porter. You can put together a flight of four beers, so just two people can hit most everything they offer.

Why I landed on three stars is the atmosphere and employees. I did not feel special or invited by the four or five people working here. They seemed to have friends that were more important. They did not seem engaged like micro brewery employees. Questions were answered quickly and not very helpful. Second, the place was over run with kids running around screaming. Twice I cringed as a young boy screeched at the top of his lungs. The constant loud noise was made worse by the selection of music and base. The heavy booming music put us on edge. We left after about 30 minutes. We tasted all our flights, but we did not finish to get away from the yelling kids and booming music.
