We met Kevin at dockside before sunrise and made our way by sea to the inter coastal waterway and Aransas Refuge. We specified bird photography as our goal, and The Captain, with his shallow-draft craft, seamanship, and knowledge of bird behavior, put us into excellent...More

They were very flexible to our time frame and proved to be expert on the birds in the area. We got very close to the Whoopers and picked up at least three other "lifers" to our bird list.

We have been to Rockport many times to see the Cranes. In the past we have gone on the tour boats that focus more on birding in general and less on photography. We had seen Kevin’s boat occasionally coming back when we were getting started...More

We had a wonderful boat ride and tour with Captain Tom to see the Cranes. He is very knowledgeable and gave us more than enough time to observe the whooping Cranes and got close enough to get amazing pictures.
