We had a perfect day with Scarlet Colley. Sunny very little wind and semi clear water. First we saw a pelican with a broken wing and she tried to rescue it. She's an avid wildlife rescuer and knows so much about birds and wildlife. Then...More

We sailed with Captain Gary yesterday. Thoroughly enjoyed it and saw quite a few dolphins! This boat only takes 6. Would thoroughly recommend for an up close and personal dolphin trip!

It was great. The dolphins were fun and playful. I had never seen one pull a boat. The water was gorgeous and our guide was great. I would recommend this dolphin excursion to anyone.

We have been dolphin watching with Scarlett and George since 2001 before we had kids. This is, by far, the best way to experience dolphins in their natural habitat. Their operation consists of the Sea Life Center with several animals on display and educational exhibits...More

My family and I love dolphins, especially my 15 year old daughter. The 4 of us were in the boat with George, who had a great time talking about the dolphins, his history on the water, and the ships we saw. We saw so many...More

Capt George was full of information, not just about dolphins, but the island, its history, and other fun local stuff. We had a great time chasing dolphins and being together as a family. I highly recommend this over the big outfitters. Much more personal and...More

I seldom write reviews but this experience was too magnificent not to share. Scarlet and George were the most perfect tour guides. They know the dolphins and the dolphins clearly know them. We watched as dolphins swam away when the big tour boats came by...More

I believe it's $25-30 per person. The boat will hold 5-6 people plus the captain so there may be others on your trip. By far, this is the best thing to do at South Padre.

No age limit I know of; should be no problem with good parental supervision. The place is low key and all on ground floor, so a stroller would work there. You could always call and ask them.

For the research & sea life center you can just show up. You will need a reservation for the dolphin tour.
