On the way to Pirate's Landing for a lovely dinner, we stopped by to talk to the parrots and enjoy the outside deck. You can access the Sea Life center and other exhibits there also and is very kid friendly.
Our annual trip to South Padre Island always includes a stop at the small shops around the Lighthouse Square. All the jewelry is handmade by a local women that does amazing work ! Her prices are very modest also.
This is a quaint place around the Lighthouse. Lots of little shops, restaurants and bars to enjoy and explore. Parking is a little challenging at times but it is a fun side trip to your visit to South Padre Island.
