Nice place to picnic or fish. There is not a lot to do for kids. I did not see a play ground. Mostly folks fishing at the seawall. Go when it's cooler. I have fished there, but did not catch anything. I think some crab...More
This was our first visit to this park and we loved it! The parkgrounds were very clean. Walked around reading about all the history that happened here. One really interesting thing available here, there is a number you can call for a self guided tour...More
What an unexpected find! This is a really cool place, but it takes some real effort to get here, and if you’re there at dusk, don’t forget the bug spray or the mosquitoes will make a meal of you! We were able to spot several...More

Unfortunately due to hurricane Ike most of that infrastructure was destroyed. However, the site is currently working on (7) 50amp rv spots. They will not have septic, but will have an rv dump station near by. The current plan is to have these available in the fall of 2018. Follow Sabine Pass Battleground on Facebook for updates. Thanks!!
