We live about a half hour away and took a picnic and fishing poles around 5:00 pm. Very relaxing time, not crowded. The boys played in the water, found a few sea shells, and flew a kite.

We visited here on a Saturday for a day trip to the beach with the family. My kids loved it and the park was nice. It's a TX State Park, so there's an entry fee. There's only one set of bathrooms we found right near...More

We stayed at the cabin in the park for 2 nights. The cabin was located about a half mile from the main park area. A puddling course in bayou starts from the cabin. Kayaking there looked really fun, but we didn't feel comfortable puddling there...More

My boys love the beach here! The last several times that we have been the beach has been super clean! We bring food for the day and spend all day hanging out while my boys play in the sand/surf!

It's quiet and secluded. We have a park pass so we get in free and the tent sites were only $20. They only have a 2 toilet restroom and rinse off showers. Not fancy but we enjoyed the peacefulness. Definitely making a return trip.

Enjoyed a six night stay here with our RV. Three nights in the campground and three nights parked on the beach. Sea Rim is isolated, uncommercial and SO relaxing. Beach walks morning and night, also a daily walk over the marsh. The beach is not...More

I brought our Boy Scout Troop here to camp and fish. I read about the mosquitos in many of the reviews, so I was a little apprehensive about what we might be up against. Thus, I prepared the boys with a lot of mosquito repellant....More
