Very Nice Excursion

An enjoyable excursion. Lasted long enough to be pleasant, but not too long. It was quite sunny. A recommended activity if you're Port Aransas.

We were very disappointed. No one on the boat caught anything! The boat was also packed with 76 passengers. Most of the hands were nice and helpful, one used foul language quit a bit, especially when someone barfed in the bathroom sink! They prefer for you to do that over the side of the boat! They say it makes good... More

We won't do this again. This is the 3rd time in as many years that we have gone out on this boat and caught basically nothing.

I've been on this fishing companies excursion before, I had a good time but the deck hands have been better in the past. I didn't need help but the couple next to me it was they're first time and they needed help. I told one deck had they needed help but they still got ignored . We did catch Red... More

This was definitely the highlight of our 6 year old grandson's trip. He caught two rather large fish. The crew could not have been more helpful. What a great "guy" trip. Not a relaxing "girly" trip as it is very loud. They have sandwiches and drinks. The boys had a blast!

We had a nice group excursion on the Wharf Cat and the group was large enough to get a little discount from the manager - which was unexpected. Unfortunately, a couple folks had to cancel at the last minute and this company has a no refund policy if you pay in advance, so the discount was quickly absorbed into the... More

My husband and I went to Fisherman’s wharf to take jetty boat to San Jose Island. The jetty boat (not the Scat Cat) goes to San Jose Island. The middle aged man that sold the tickets to me was not friendly at all. The tickets are $12 round trip (adults) to the Island. There are fishing tours, dolphin tours and... More

i have been out on the Scat Cat many times and have never been disappointed. I noticed several other reviews were critical ,but that is why they call it fishing and not catching. The captain and crew do their best to put you on fish and they definitely can not control the weather. The food could be better but the beer is...
