Great deep sea fishing

our group of 16 took our large red snapper and many, many vermillion snapper, Atlantic shark and kings and ling. Our amazing captain Marvin was wonderful and his crew worked hard helping with our fish and keeping everything going. We have fished with Deep sea since 2008 and have always had a great experience, the boats are great and comfortable... More

First off, yes you will see quite a few dolphins. Left side, right side, in the front towards the back. The dolphins are everywhere. After the first few sightings most visitors were satisfied that they aren't gonna miss anything, and everyone just kinda stays put. After a while I really didn't care about the the dolphins, I kept seeing them,... More

This is my review of their 8 hour deep sea trip (they offer many trips, tours). We booked this for our family of 4. The boat leaves at 7:30 and they recommend you get there 30 min early. I LOVE that you can book everything online! Several outfitters had older non updated websites. Theirs described the type of trip, cost... More

The guys on the boat were nice enough, just don't go out thinking this is really "deep sea" fishing, it's not. I think the deepest we ever went was 20 feet, you will be fishing right off the bay if you take the 3.5 hour fishing tour. The website shows some really big catches, none of ours were over 4... Management response:

The trip you were on was a 3 & 1/2 hour Bay Fishing Trip not an offshore fishing trip. To fish offshore or "Deep Sea" you need to book a 5, 8 or 12 hour offshore fishing trip. We apologize for any confusion if you thought it was offshore fishing. If you booked online or looked at the website you... More

We have been on all of the dolphin cruises. This one we highly recommend. The Scarlet Lady is a brand new boat, has a nice stable ride. There is plenty of shaded seating. You can buy drinks and snacks, and adult beverages, so we cruised the channel drinking margaritas! We saw lots of dolphins! The Captain was very knowledgeable and... More

Visited last summer and will be going back again!. The Boys got a little sea sick and fed the fish over the side but eventually overcame it. Caught quite a few Kingfish and Shark. Deckhands were AWESOME. We all had a great time....See you this Summer Deep Sea Headquarters!

the only reason this review is not a five, is that the day I went the boats starter went out. Even though the boat was late going out, they stayed out late to give the entire time on the water promised. The boat caught 15 kingfish and 22 good sized snapper, so the captain knew where to go to get... More

A group of 20 of my friends and family chartered the Kingfisher for a Father's Day snapper fishing trip. It could not have gone better. Everyone limited out on Red Snapper (2 each) and we caught several other species. The crew did a fantastic job. Crewmen Hunter and Glenn were helpful and just as important... CHEERFUL! I highly recommend this... More

Took the 5 hour out into the Gulf. The Captain took us about by the rigs and there were quite a few Ling and Kings caught. It was my son's first boat trip offshore and fishing. He had a good time though he was a bit apprehensive. Neither of us caught anything but several around us did and it was... More

Booked a 3 1/2 hour bay fishing boat out of Port Aransas at Deep Sea Headquarters aboard the Kingfisher. Capt. Kelly and crew were nice and helpful. Only keepers were very small whiting and small catfish. We caught lots of small hardheaded catfish that are a trash fish, not to be eaten. Only complaint, the rod and reels were for... More
