Went to see Queen Tribute Band and the sound was terrific, but if your going their specifically to watch the band perform along with a terrific sound, I recommend to go somewhere else to see a band. Here’s why, forget about watching the band for alls your viewing is people dancing and or jumping up and down, obstructing the view of the band and blocking your view of seeing the band perform; this all could be corrected with a stage that is taller, like 5-6’ tall above the people dancing, along with a bigger stage where with Queen Tribute Band Freddie Mercury had to play the key board to the side of the stag where he was completely obstructed and he was really crowed for space performing his dance moves. Otherwise, if you like to dance all night and watching the band perform is not a big deal, then it’s a great place for you to go, I just happen to appreciate listening and seeing a band perform, then just listening over the people dancing; I can do that at home and turn on my stereo or headphones. Also, the ambiance is very warm and relaxing, and well thought out.

After booking this for my wife’s birthday and reading what was going to be in the room when we arrived, we were excited. We arrived during a festival and were directed where to park as we were staying in the suite, awesome parking spot for sure ! We got checked in , explained the set up at the winery we headed to the room. Great view of the grounds and an earshot of the live music, we opened the door and it was treat to see ( it was the owner’s personal residence) so no let down there. Now for the downside, the site said a charcuterie plate for 2 would be included as well as gourmet snacks and a continental breakfast. We were not impressed with the charcuterie plate, a small plate with 2 meats , 6 grapes , 2 small pickles , 3 cheeses, 1 olive and a hand full of a granola mix and some cubed stale bread. So not what was on the website. As for the gourmet snacks, it was various vending machine type snacks , and the continental breakfast was 4 very small cinnamon rolls that was for the next morning. So kind of a letdown. As for the wines that are available, they are along the country Texas style wines , not really and estate wines. Seems like most people were drinking Dog Days a strawberry wine, I liked it the most also. My wife is the wine drinker and wasn’t impressed by any of their offerings . That being said, it was a really nice place to stay, drink wine , listen to music and not have to drive home . But manage your expectations, there is no really local food offerings so plan accordingly, the room has a full fridge with ice maker, microwave, Keurig coffee machine and full utensils and glasses. The bed is a queen and had nice clean sheets and linens and the shower is for 2 with plenty of towels. Cold A\C with ceiling fans thought.

I was hoping to have such an amazing experience here because of the great reviews and referrals but sadly, it was the worst experience I have ever had tasting in my life. We started off at the Retreat Hill winery and we were referred to Bernhart winery. It was about 30 minutes out of our way but we decided to give it a shot. I had been dying for an amazing bed and breakfast so, I was hoping it would be a new vacation spot. So to cut to the chase, we walk in the door and the bar is full ( considering it is a tiny bar so 4 people is a full bar). The owner told us "hello" and we began to wait. Another older couple walked in about 10 minutes after we did and the owner greeted them, pulled them up to the bar and gave them a menu. We were a bit turned off as he finally approached us and handed us menus, questioning if we were old enough (me, 24 my spouse, 23). After continuing to wait, the owner took one of the couples at the bar on a random tour and left the bar. The other bar attendant pulled the other older couple and us up to the bar. As he did that another group of 4 women walked into the winery. Instead of beginning our wine tasting, he walked away and began handing out menus and talking about the winery to the new guests. As he did this, 3 other winery workers had asked if he would like help and he said "no" to all of them. Finally the owner returned and the couple that he devoted all of his time to spent a measly $10 on their tasting and didn't even buy a bottle of wine! My spouse said to the owner, "we would love some wine". After that he told all off us to form a circle and do a wine tasting. Are you kidding me!? I have just waited over 20 minutes without one sip of your wine and now we have to have an hour long tasting with 8 people!? My spouse and I put our menus down and walked out. There were atleast 5 women in the back that we're enjoying their own wine, why weren't they asked to help guests? I am so tired of being discriminated against because of our age. Unlike the older people we would've bought bottles as we did at Retreat Hill. I really wanted to like this winery seeing as I have lived in New York and have tasted in the Fingerlakes, which they have won a few awards in the Fingerlakes area. I am also from California and have tasted an array of wines from different states. My spouse is also an avid wine taster as he has tasted in Washington, Italy, exc. They may have great wine (that we never actually got to try and has yet to be confirmed) but their customer service is terrible. If you want to be ignored then go to Bernhart. For younger people, stay away.

A family ran operation in a beautiful setting off the back roads of Texas. The secret to this jewel is the Sunday evening tasting and live music get together. This event was perfect for a warm night and awesome sunsets. Bring your own chairs or reserve a table for $10. The live music varies from the oldies to the up coming Eagles tribute band. There's dancing, wine tasting, and catered food. The owners and staff are very friendly and great hosts. Bernhardt winery has been doing this for many of years and have it dialed in to make sure that there is no stress and you have a fun filled romantic night. Go to there web site Bernhardt winery Texas, and check out the summer lawn concert info. Go and see, meet new friend you will not be disappointed.

My husband and I have enjoyed the Sunday evening concerts. We have brought out of state guests to the winery for a tasting and concerts. It's great to pack a picnic, purchase a bottle of their wine and enjoy a nice relaxing evening listening to the concert. The owners and the staff are very welcoming.

My fiancée and I made a great spontaneous decision to visit this winery. The staff was very helpful to us, since we are new to wine tasting. They did a great job explaining all the wines, and even gave us a free tour and sampling of their ports because we hung around awhile and had a glass of wine after our initial tasting. We watched from an outside sitting area while a group of people practiced their rehearsal for a wedding the next day, and it was just a peaceful day to relax and drink some delicious wine. I will definitely return to this place!

Cozy, boutique winery with a very nice ambience, welcoming staff and cordial owner. This was our second visit to the winery and we looked forward to tasting some good wines, we were not disappointed. We did the regular wine tasting which is extensive, you get a choice of six wines from a list of many and the pours were generous. There are samplings of crackers and dips to cleanse the palette and explanations of the wines before and during the tasting. There is also a tour of the winery included and you can walk the beautiful grounds, plus a view of their one room bed and breakfast, which is a loft style room with bath overlooking the vineyard. All in all a great, informative way to spend a few hours. They also offer cheese plates and Sunday afternoon live music. We'll be back!

One of the great things about the B winery is that it is so different with what can be available in this part of Texas. We all decided to do Fathers day and listen to the Texas Blues Brothers. It was pretty clear that there was some confusion about outside under the pecans or inside. No problem with the call inside. BUT we were sitting outside and could not hear the music. The wines were great but the lines were long for registration and the wine bar. Not sure why a destination which was excellent last time would be so mediocre this time.

This was my first time visiting a winery and this makes me want to come back. Very friendly, small mom and pop feel. Very pretty grounds. No hassle or big crowds. Everyone was so easy going. Price is cheap compared to other places. $9 for a tasting of 6 wines. Barrel room is small but the free tour was great. No rush, ask all the questions you want. Wine was good. The only thing missing was we did not bring a picnic basket because we did not know it was allowed. Bring all the food you want and hangout after your tasting for a great day. Children are allowed. There was a family that brought flowers and tablecloth for their family meal. No extra charge to picnic. Pick a spot and enjoy. Definitely will be going back.

My bf surprised me with a getaway to The Loft at Bernhardt Winery. It was incredible. It felt like a cozy, warm home with everything you could possibly need included in the room. Tons of snacks, simple breakfast (croissant, eggs, bacon, yogurt, fruit bowl, OJ, milk), appetizer plate, sodas, water are included. Also, a free wine tasting of 6 wines (each person gets 6 tastings), a glass of wine (per person), and a bottle of wine of your choice is included with your stay. Room is stocked with 6 different wines, and if you want a different bottle, you just ask. Once you drink your included bottle of wine, you can crack open any of the bottles in The Loft, and they will just be added to your room. It is such a relaxing atmosphere on the grounds and the patio. There are "star gazing" chairs, plenty of tables outdoors, and a table right on your balcony to enjoy your wine and entire experience. I did not want to leave. I'm also more of a red wine drinker, but preferred several of their whites. They have a shop downstairs to order wine, jellies, spreads, crackers, wine, etc. The staff was professional, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. This was our first experience at a vineyard/ winery as well as bed and breakfast, and they knocked it out of the park. We will definitely be back for years to come. Thank you so much for making such a memorable weekend, Bernhardt!
