Super fun forest adventure. Friendly staff that stays attentive throughout the course. I would recommend booking the earliest time to avoid the Texas heat and wearing dark clothing because it gets dirty. I would not recommend to anyone afraid of heights or who does not enjoy the outdoors.

My husband and I wanted to do something outdoors and active to celebrate our anniversary and I CANNOT RECOMMEND GO APE ENOUGH!!!! We had a blast! The staff was so welcoming in teaching you the safety rules and making sure your harness was fitted properly. On the course you have a few places where you can determine the route you want to go depending on the level of difficulty which was great. A little pricey but worth every penny! Can’t wait to go back!

We had five in our group which includes a 11 and 13 year old. We all had a lot of fun. The difficult routes where definitely hard so I would recommend the simper routes (offered about 2 times). The zip lines were long and fun. They had water and disposable cups at each starting station.

I paid for the 3 hour course, and when I got there non of the staff members mentioned that multiple courses were closed due to reconstruction, and we got on the training course, and the first obstacle and then it ended. then we were escorted back to where we started and it was over. they said that I would be issued a refund but I called afterwards and requested to reschedule since I wasn't aware it was going to be cut short. the person I spoke to said they would get back to me within 48 hours and then I heard nothing back for 3 days and when i called to follow up they said that a refund was already issued and that there is nothing they can do because the first person I spoke to didn't write any notes. I kind of feel scammed, I'm not mad just pretty annoyed that the staff remained quiet and didn't inform me that it was going to be cut short. even when they were walking us back i did ask where we are going and the staff member was being evasive about the situation. later I did see they sent an email that was sent to spam email. just wish there was more accountability.

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I am sorry to hear you were disappointed with your recent Go Ape experience. I have spoken with our team, and hopefully, I can provide some clarification on some of the issues you have addressed.
Excellent customer service is a top priority at Go Ape. This includes making sure we communicate clear and accurate information to our guests before, during, and after their adventure. Several of our sites were closed due to weather complications. With this, you were informed before your adventure by our Enterprise team before your adventure via email. You were also issued a partial refund for this inconvenience. As far as during your adventure it seems our teams dropped the ball. Please email info@goape.com with your reservation ID so we may send you a discount code for your next visit!
Again, we appreciate your feedback and will use it to further improve our guest experience, particularly in reviewing how information is relayed to guests. If you have any further concerns, please feel free to reach out!
Best,
-MP

We only got to experience 3 courses bc the rest was under maintenance. They didn't tell us up front, and I paid for the full experience and spent $250 for an hour of the experience. They only offered a 10% refund which I still haven't received. I'm absolutely not happy about this!!!! I would NOT recommend this place unless the whole thing is opened.

Totally not a good value, esp compared to Trinity Treetops Adventure Park south of Dallas. At Go Ape we paid for 90 min - the first 25 min was getting harness and safety training. The 90 min option gives you 3 courses and the first one is a baby training demonstration. You can't even go 10' on the zip line without being on your butt. We finished all "3" in 42 minutes and they would not let us go back and do #2 or 3 again. wth? Asked the staff twice. What a waste. Other places give you 3 hours for the same price and you can go as many times as you want if experienced and want to move quickly. Everyone in our time slot was disappointed by that. So we paid $207 for 4 people to be on the ropes 42 minutes. wow

Although the place was beautiful along with the course being fairly nice, except for the fact that the employees seem to hate their jobs. Bottom line if you’re around 50 years old and you want to be talked to like you’re a little kid by a 15 year old then this is definitely the place for you. When I told the office, they knew exactly who I was talking about without mentioning gender or race, which tells me they don’t mind him out there, making a fairly expensive experience into an experience that you’re in a hurry to get done with. Most of the other staff act like they are going out of their way just by doing their jobs and even when they try to explain something, it’s almost like it hurts them to talk. This place is fun, but expect no smiles from staff.

It's was our sisters birthday and she bought tickets 2 weeks in advance. Even called at 10am for a 12pm time slot to double check she had the right gloves and was good to go.
We where 2 mins way (11:35pm) to check in for her time slot and got a text that her reservation was cancelled and they where closed for the day. She called and was only told some one couldn't make it in to work the had to close the whole place. Was only offered a refund for tickets. No discount on a future date or anything else. We understand things happen but to only be notified 5 minutes before your check in time while driving 45 mins to get there in unacceptable.
Then also to not be offered anything except a refund in "5-10 bussiness days" is poor business practice. Very sad way to start off a birthday celebration

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I am sorry to hear you were disappointed with your recent Go Ape experience. I have taken the time to review with our teams and hopefully, I can provide some clarification on some of the issues you have addressed.
While Go Ape does not wish to randomly close down operations, will do so for necessary means as safety is our number one priority. This includes unsafe weather and unmet staffing needs both of which are crucial safety factors. Our team ,unfortunately, experienced a staffing emergency on the day of your planned visit. Our cancellation policy includes "In the event Go Ape needs to close the course prior to your booking, guests will have the option to reschedule the booking, receive a refund gift card in the amount of the cancelled booking, or a full monetary refund."
If you have any further questions regarding this, please feel free to reach out to info@goape.com.
Again, we appreciate your feedback and will use it to further improve our guest experience, particularly in reviewing how information is relayed to guests. If you have any further concerns, please feel free to reach out!

I went here as a birthday gift for my boyfriend. Wanted to do something adventurous and outside of the box. We both had so much fun! Highly recommend! Also, pictures are great but having the thing hanging around your neck kind of gets in the way so next time I would leave mine in the car and just enjoy the experience.

You must do the Arlington location of this adventure park with your kids. It is the worlds best self confidence building activity. I am the Grandma who took the grand kids aged 7 and 9. After a brief lesson on the equipment and a few practice sessions we were ready to go. Truly an adventure. I did the first trail with our 7 year old. She, not surprisingly, finished a good 10 minutes before me. Both kids were challenged enough to feel a great sense of accomplishment at the end without being overwhelmed. I found it tough in some places but the sense of accomplishment was well worth it. It was really fun. Outstanding staff who "assist" rather than "rescue." Kudos to Andy who assisted our 7 year old when she got scared, but talked her through her fear rather than saving her and sending her back to the easier course. He built her self confidence and she couldn't wait to go back for more. I highly recommend this activity. We can't wait to go back. The Plano location does not allow young children. The Arlington location is the place to go with kids. Gloves are a must. We used baseball and bicycle gloves which worked fine

About how long does go ape take to complete, is admission per day or only good for one trip through the course?
Written September 4, 2017
Hi Sara, I apologize for the delay in our response, but we do typically recommend that you allot at least 2-3 hours to complete the course and plan to arrive 15-20 minutes before your scheduled brief time. The admission is good for the one time through the course, but you are able to move at your own pace and can take as little or as much time (as long as you're off before sunset) as needed to complete your adventure. Hope this helps and hope to see you out there!
