This was a nice addition to the park system in Plano. It has nice cement trails for biking, has dirt trails for hiking, and now even has a zipline course.

Great place with natural beauty in the middle of town. Only Plano can boast this :). The whole family enjoys going on the trails in this place. Maintained beautifully !

Yes, dogs are welcome, on a leash. Please be sure to clean up after they eliminate. I've seen lots of families there with dogs.

Ues, there's a Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott on Premeir Drive. It's less than 5 miles away.
