We go to a monthly car show held in the Town Center, it is a nice area with shops and restaurants. The grounds are well maintained and we have never had any issues with feeling unsafe. It is a great way to spend an afternoon

The one and only downside to this shopping complex is that it’s outside, which can be overbearing on hot and humid days in Houston. But, if you can bear the heat, it’s a great place to eat and shop. Macy’s and Dillards are anchors with about 50 other stores and restaurants.

I'll start by putting this out there, I'm not much of a 'mall person' nor do I hang out at any stores or malls - I go to shop or eat and leave unless I'm entertaining the wife or friends in town and in both of those situations I often find myself at the Pearland Town Center.
I would not recommend someone drive 50 miles to visit this mall - quite frankly it isn't items/stores/restaurants you can't find elsewhere around Houston, but if you're within Pearland and the neighboring cities certainly it is worth the trip. This is an outdoor mall, separate entrances to each store/location.
You'll find clothing stores for men, women, children and specialty (maternity, teen, etc), hat stores, shoe stores, sunglasses and prescription glasses, a couple large department stores (Macy's, Dillards), Sporting Goods Store, Toys, Vitamin shop, and so much more including more than a dozen restaurants.
The Food options vary greatly with some common options and a few nicer and more varied than some other mall areas including: Yogurt, Cookie, Pretzel and Cinnabon small places and full restaurants such as Red Robin (burgers and spirits), BJ's (the nicest option and largest menu), Freebirds, Fish City Grill, PeiWei, PopEyes, DQ, A sushi place, Stadia Grill (sports bar), Gringo's Mexican and an awful lot MORE.
All of these locations and stores are completely in walking distance even those not 'attached' to the rest of the mall. The entire mall is somewhat large including everything but it really boils down to just a few city blocks worth of distance about the same as any mall.
You'll hear many complaints about parking and YES it gets backed up and obnoxious at times because people park in the road waiting to snag a spot. If you aren't physically disabled and aren't lazy just park at the THOUSANDS of spots not on the main small road through the mall area. All around the mall and behind Barnes and Noble and in front of the Sporting Good Store and Macys as well as DIllards there are thousands of parking spots and walking distance of a couple hundred feet or less. The parking being bad is completely overblown - it is absolutely not worse than any other mall I've been to in my life.
To re-iterate, this is an 'outdoor mall' so you will face the South Texas heat and sun going in and out. While enjoyable you are most certainly at the mercy of the weather while not inside the stores. Most of the stores do a great job of air conditioning and temperature control for convenience as well as all the restaurants, but yeah you'll face the sun/rain etc.
If you found my rating and review useful, please give me a "helpful comment review" - It helps others find this post more easily. Thanks for taking your time to read my honest and blunt reviews.

I love the "idea" of PTC, the problem is the weather in Texas, especially these parts, is not conducive to this type of mall. There are a good variety of stores and restaurants, but when the weather is hot, humid or raining, you only want to run into a single location at best. The mixture of events, stores, atmosphere, hotels, rental property and businesses make it a unique location. It is nothing I would go out of my way to visit, but is a nice "mall" experience.

The Pearland Town Center offers a variety of shops like Barnes & Noble, Forever 21, Macy's, GameStop & Francesca's. The outdoor mall is easily walkable after parking either in the lot or on the street. However the area can be difficult to access during peak traffic times and weekends.

It’s the Heart of Pearland and really Beutiful!... Big Big Showrooms housing All International Brands!...that too in a very big Area with really big size Showrooms!... I don’t remember the name but there is a Book shop/ Showroom so large! I have never seen in my life!... Some wonderful Restaurants hustling and bustling with life in the evening time. You get Food from all around the world but Not a Place for Vegetarian people!... And yes one more thing!... in Pearland and this part of US get UBER App Downloaded and synchronised to your account otherwise you might face Conveyance problem and probably have to walk miles to your Hotel.

In Pearland Town Center there are many interesting stores, no able to see them all in one go. The weather is a problem when it is 90 and above or it is raining, the best time to walk around is in the fall through spring. Also if you get hungry many options where to eat or have a drink or ice cream.A nice Barnes and Noble store too!
