If you are a fan of the 70s tv show this is worth a visit. Inside the house might disappoint. But outside is just as you would imagine. Nice gift shop and snack bar.

Southfork Ranch was only used for external filming, thus nothing from the inside was used during the original show that aired from 1978 to 1991. The reboot shot some senses in the house, but nothing in the mansion. The cost is $16.09 after tax and you really don't see anything that you don't see from the road. Honestly, there were... More

My husband and I were in the area and took this tour. It includes the museum, the grounds, and the house. It was very interesting to see. The house looks bigger on TV. They also gave us some tricks of the trade on how the show was filmed. The museum had a lot of neat things from the show. I... More

We didn't do the tour but stopped for photo opportunity. Very easy to get to. Once there the roads were very quiet ,you can see the ranch clearly from the road. We just pulled up on the road and took some pics just to say we had seen 'DALLAS '

Drive in by gate one and park by the visitor center. Tours starts every 45 minutes and cost $15 for adults. The tour starts with a tractor ride around the grounds, continue with a guided tour of the house and then you can roam the grounds by yourselves. Both the tour guide on the ride and in the actual house... More

My husband and I moved to the local area this past spring, me being a Dallas tv show fan from back in the day, I just had to go visit! It's $15 for the guided tour of the house. We felt it was a tad pricey for what you get, but the tour guide was super nice and gave us... More

I visited South Fork Ranch for a Vintage Market held there. Growing up I was a big fan of the show "Dallas" so I enjoyed getting to see the ranch. I will go back to take a tour.

This is like the Graceland of Texas, where they pay homage to the television show Dallas. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The have a guided tour of the house where you will get the history of how Southfork became the setting of Dallas (the tv show). It was not very expensive, I think around $15 per person... More

Save your money, drive by as that is the only part that is used in the show. Nothing else on the tour is from the show. The house (inside and out) is falling apart, dated and not at all related to the show unless you count the portraits of characters in different rooms. One room they re-created was from the... More
