Pleasantly surprised to discover the Railroad museum while sightseeing around old town New Braunfels! Admission is free, and the property and grounds are kept neat and tidy. There are several trains and cabooses adjacent to the Station, and it really gives off that 'old timey'...More

We enjoyed an evening visit to this museum. The restored Victorian station was a treat, and contained historic displays. The model train layouts were fun to inspect with lots of surprising details. Our group had an extra treat- dinner in the Pullman Dining car!

The model train inside the museum is outstanding. Kids love it. There is also some train cars outside which you can go inside to explore.

Took my granddaughter to visit this museum thinking it was for children, but gained a lot of knowledge about train history. Many great exhibits and very open. My granddaughter also enjoyed being so close to exhibits.
