I took my 3 year old daughter and she really enjoyed it. It's a nice place with lots of different animals. Not just snakes. And they take good care of the animals. The cages are clean! I would recommend this to everyone!!!! We always stop by when in the area. Which ain't all the time. We are from Dallas.

The snakes were fascinating, and there was a surprising number of other cool animals out back. I loved the little foxes, and it was fun to see some of the other interesting and lesser known creatures too. Any time I can actually interact with animals, though, I am in heaven, so I liked the petting zoo best. I fed lots... More

They have a pretty nice selection of different types of animals. It's different than the safari. It isn't super big, but they do plan on expanding. The entrance is of a variety of snakes from around the world so if you're not into snakes you should know that. After a corridor of snakes to get your blood pumping you'll exit... More

Go and find a place that's got a monocled cobra, a death adder, a gaboon viper, gators and crocs living together, goats to pet, pigs to chase and a gift shop that you can see all in one place. Go ahead - I'll wait. Done yet? You can't find one, except this one. South of Austin by just thirty minutes... More

The displays of different types of snakes was well done. There is a nice little zoo in the back of the building to see after the snakes.

we stopped here as the boys like snakes, they have lots and different ones than you are used to. Also the animals were cool and the shows they put on were worth being there for.
