Lots of snakes and animals, muddy outside and smelly not my thing. Kids loved it!!

Great for kids who like animals and snakes. In rain, don't wear sandles. Kind of smelly if you don't care for snakes. My kids ran around after chickens.

I enjoy traveling to and exploring smaller zoos but this one really can leave you depressed even though some improvements are being made to the facility. The primate enclosures are still old school and alarming in their smallness. The petting zoo is good. They should just eliminate the grassless hoofstock area and make larger primate enclosures. The lions are in... More

So let me start by stating, I've been here at least a dozen times over the course of 35+ years. No Gorilla, No Alligators or Crocodiles on this visit (unless I missed them...) - Summertime is probably the worst time to go. Number one, HEAT. Who wants to be in the heat moving, especially with a fur coat on. The... More

My boys loved it, me... not so much. I don't like snakes. We had fun feeding the camel and seeing the other animals. Keep in mind that it is privately owned and NOT a city zoo or anything. I saw the animal caregivers doing a really good job. They answered questions and I could tell they really cared for the... More

Went here many years ago and was not impressed. Had a grand son in for a visit and needed something to do. WOW. A huge difference in the care of the animals and the snakes were well represented and cared for. The keeper who took care of the big animals was very informative to the kids. The keeper who brought... More

Having seen this place on television some time back, our family was excited to visit as we were vacationing close by. The variety of creatures both inside and out made things quite interesting. From farm animals to slithering things, there was something for everyone. Snakes are definitely not my thing but seeing them up close but safely behind the glass... More

There are tons of snakes! They also have many other animals to see. It was much bigger than we thought it would be. My two boys just loved it here and were fascinated by all the snakes! We actually went around the whole place twice!

We honestly did not know what to expect and we were very happy that we stopped. You are up close and personal with the animals here and it just seemed so much more laid back than a traditional zoo. It is definitely worth a stop, especially if you have kids👍

It doesn't look like much from the outside but behind the front is an awesome collection of snakes and mini zoo. The animals are very well taken care of and engaging with the visitors. The petting zoo was one of the best I have experienced. We had so much fun. We even got to see them feed the mountain lions.

This was a cool place to visit! There is everything from snakes to lions here. They have talks from the keepers at different times throughout the day. They allow you to bring in outside food and we ate our lunch while we were there. It does have a petting zoo and you can buy a bag of food to fed... More
