Small place....

This place is small, the bartenders were ok and didn't have many suggestions as to which wine was the best. Overall I would go back again and the wine was fantastic, I just think... read more

We were really looking forward to relaxing with a bottle of our favorite wine but when we arrived the vineyard was closed for a private event. Seems like they could have an event calendar on their website to inform patrons of when they are closed.

In the small town of Gruene, this was a lovely stop! My husband and I walked not too far from the main street to reach this tasting... however, I believe there was parking on the street if one wished to drive. The interior and exterior was beautiful! We were greeted and offered a tasting. The hostess was very friendly and... More

This is quite a nice place. I hadn't been to Gruene for a long time. My next visit will not be so long! Behind this modern designed winery is a large vineyard, The 4 wines we got to taste 2 whites and 2 reds, were delightful. I'm not usually a big fan of whites, but these were actually quite good.... This place is small, the bartenders were ok and didn't have many suggestions as to which wine was the best. Overall I would go back again and the wine was fantastic, I just think the bartenders need to be a little bit more friendly and familiar with the wines available.

When we visited, they suggested they normally only allow sampling of their top 4 or 5 wines. And since they were not available, we were allowed to select from the other wines - which only ONE was a Texas wine, not even local. We left.

My family was in Gruene for one night as part of a road trip from New Orleans to Wyoming. After dinner next door (at Inferno's), we walked here to sample some wine. When we arrived, we were the only people in the place. The server was very nice and helpful, offering tasting notes on each of the wines offered. While... More

They have some of the coldest bottled beer I have had in a bar anywhere. Of course, the others among us also enjoyed the great wine selection. And, the outdoor, live music was a bonus. Even on warm summer evenings, the patio catches a nice breeze.

Always it never disappoints! Texas wine - how can you not love a place that serves TX at the top of the wine list! Meat, cheese tray - you will not be disappointed!
