They weren't lying when they said gospel music with a Texas twist. It was sooooo goood and the crowd made it even better. They feature different artists, we got to hear Bret Graham unfortunately The Gospel Siverstones weren't able to make it but Bret Graham threw an amazing performance. The place was a little tight, and a very packed place.... More

Gruene Hall is the oldest dance hall in TX. It's big. Lots of interesting people-watching, good drinks, great music. It's only open at certain times, and I was lucky enough to be here on a Friday night with two bands playing.

We've had this on our bucket list for years. It did not disappoint. Each time we went in to hear music, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our friends were unfamiliar with the venue until our trip, and they said they would love to return with us someday.

Great place to listen to live music and sit with nice folks from all over. Inexpensive and down to earth. A little bit of Americana.

This is such a beautiful throwback to the days of the honky-tonk and the traveling troubadour. The floors are squeaky, and probably nothing has been replaced since 1984. However, on a given night, you can get an affordable beer and dance until you are tired, with plenty of seating inside and out. It's family friendly as well, and most patrons... More

We stopped at Gruene Hall in New Braunfels on a visit to the Texas hill country. This is a fantastic old Texas dance hall (..read honky tonk). They had live bands playing throughout the day and people were dancing as well. We stopped in to get a drink while in town visiting the tourist sites and doing some shopping. This... More

Was here to see the Coal Miners Daughter. Great show. Cold beer. Seating was limited. The line to get in formed 3 hours before show time. They do not make accommodation for anyone in a wheel chair. First come first served. So plan that accordingly. Staff was friendly. Beer reasonable. Seemed like they were open most of the day, music... More

Come have a beer and dance or just sit by and enjoy the vibe. So much fun. There are so many people just hanging out and everyone feels welcomed.
