Just to swing by is an experience of some great music and atmosphere. Generally music is free during the week, folks pretty friendly and fun to visit with your neighbor. Great place to hang out after a meal in Gruene.
Weather should be ok. It can get cold here in January, but usually it’s rather pleasant, Gruene Hall is heated just no a/c. So just check the weather a day or so ahead of time, weather shouldn’t be a reason not to go.
