We visited this legendary dance hall while walking around this area. Gruene Hall is located right in the middle of Gruene Historic District. There is a spacious wooden dance floor with lots of seating. We spent quite a bit of time reading the posters with the names of some of the legendary singers/bands who have played here. This famous dance... More

This hall is right outside the Gristmill and great for before or after dinner Great music and dance area all under roof with fans but very comfortable for this time of year. Different entertainment every night And serving drinks only

A must stop when visiting the Hill country. There is usually free music every night. Check their website for a schedule of performers. They only serve beer and wine coolers but such a fun place to visit. Sometimes there are concerts that you need to buy tickets for but big names like Willie Nelson, LeAnn Rimes, Cassidy Pope, Lisa Marie... More

Heard some live music here in this wondetful , rustic place. Get a cold one. First Sunday is Gospel brunch with all you can establish breakfast items. Followed by a non denominational worship service.

My wife and I found the town of Gruene, TX on our roadtrip to Austin. What a wonderful afternoon! We walked around the town enjoying the Rustic atmosphere and country shops. We took in a few songs from a live band at Gruene Hall, the oldest Dance hall in Texas. This was as authentic as country music can get! It... More

Came to see one of Texas oldest dance halls and was quite surprised to see all the history in this place. Lots of great artists have played here and just coming to experience an evening of dancing and music made the trip worth while...I absolutely loved it...

I live right down the street from the hall, and let me tell you that it is one of the most magical places in the world. People travel from far and wide just to see this place and it does not disappoint

Step back in time to the old saloon style bar. Sometimes cash only required. Live music often playing during the day on weekends and most evenings. Cover charge for evenings. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Dance floor inside.
