George Strait, Hal Ketchum, Lyle Lovett, Garth Brooks... just a few of the greats who have played here. Unpretentious and definitely worth a visit. You can catch free music most nights, but some shows sell out fast since it is a pretty small venue. Call ahead if you plan to make a special trip down.

If you like live country music and nostalgia from famous singers and the oldest dance hall in Texas you should go here. Good bands sell out so get tickets before hand.

This is a old historic building. The ambience is very rustic. This is a wood building that has open sides with screens. The bar is in the front of the building.

The oldest dance hall in Texas. Music nightly. Very quaint. Many famous country performers have sung at the hall. The local music anstett are wonderful also. This will be at least a weekly visit for us while we are here this Texas Winter.

When we arrived the place was packed (even though it was the middle of the day) so we decided to grab a beer and come back later, as we were staying next door at the Gruene Mansion Inn. When we came back, the parking spots in front of the hall were blocked off but being we were on our Harley,... More

We spent an hour in the middle of the afternoon and enjoyed two different musicians. One a single guitarist and singer. The other a three piece band. Both were very enjoyable. Good seating, beer and wine. We were happy to find a place that you can see live music during the day!! Great collection of neon beer signs, especially those featuring... More

Hadn't been in several years since moving to the Dallas area. Happy to be back. Glad some things never change!! Enjoyed the afternoon show. Free, as always. Relaxing, as always. And most importantly - Fantastic musical talent, as always!
