Extremely friendly staff to check you in at the Texas State Park. Can buy a daily or Annual Sticker. You cannot drive a vehicle in the park but they have a tram to take you around included with the entrance fee. Excellent park to ride...More

Staff was very friendly and informative. The park has several interesting trails filled with bird blinds and other viewing areas. Great place to spend a few hours on a nice day.

We stayed across the street at Bentsen Palms RV Resort and road our bikes within the state park often. Nice flat roads. Clean restroom half way in, near the Resaca -Oxbow lake. Saw birds, bobcat, javelinas.

The RV portion of the park is no longer open. However, you can prinitive tent camp but I am unaware of needling reservations to do so.
