Mt. Teide and Masca Valley Tour in Tenerife

230 reviews
West Tenerife’s landscapes are a must-see, but difficult to access independently without a rental car. This coach tour wraps up the main highlights in a day, with a guide to bring them alive. Cross Mt. Teide National Park, visit Garachico, see the Dragon Tree, and stroll in the mountain-ridge village of Masca. Transfers from North and South Tenerife make everything extra convenient, with just lunch as an extra cost.

Really quiet at present due to there being few tourists as a result of the covid pandemic. A lovely time to visit and enjoy the open space of the beach and the sound of the waves without too much background noise.?

Playa De Las Americas is probably the loveliest resort on the island of Tenerife. It has many desirable tourist amenities such as restaurants, bars and clubs. It attracts people due to its nightlife and predominantly targets a younger audience. Whilst late evenings and excessive drinking is not necessarily my kind of hobby horse anymore, we visited the stretch of discos and pubs and can understand why many Brits travel here: it’s a tourist hotspot. The Veronicas Strip is definitely where people gravitate to for an evening out, and understandably so, given the low prices for drinks and low-end eateries.

It looks nice, spacious and with golden-yellow sand, so what can be wrong, right? Well, we couldn't go for it as a valid option, unfortunately! We didn't want to buy a parasol and there were none for rent (due to COVID19) and the showers were closed off too. As such, we decided to skip it, although it looked inviting with just the right amount of people scattered across its 850-meter long beach.

Bars, car hire, trip booking places, money change a beach, surfing - for the experienced because lava makes for sharp shores. Can walk along traffic free promenade up the Adeje coast for about 3km and to Cristianos again several km. Night life including famous late night Veronicas area [ don't book hotel within 500m if you want to get an early night]

Playa de Las Americas is an exciting area with multiple bars and eateries. There are many shopping opportunities at great prices and plenty of variety from clothes to perfume, gifts to medical supplies ( hopefully not required) The area is very clean and the beach is cleaned daily,
