This was dire. The most awful show I think I've ever seen. 3 terrible queens, miming through a cringe worthy 90 mins. Which you hoped might get better. It didn't. Getting two of them to go round the crowd selling shots for a Euro, is hardly classy, for one of Gran Canarias "premier nightspots".Drag shows are meant to camp and outrageous, but this was bland and at times vulgar. Just to say, waiting staff were excellent, Allan and the lovely girl never stopped and were very friendly.

After taking over the unit next door meaning the venue has doubled in size I understand that the rent has increased but buying 2 JD and Pepsi and 1 Vodka Redbull then being charged 37.50 euros is disgusting. We have been many times but will not be returning again after this. Mentioned it to a member of staff who took the receipt to check and then didn’t come back obviously realising their mistake (or intention) and chose to sweep it under the carpet but we luckily took a picture of the receipt before hand. Just awful! Was like being in a Butlins holiday camp circa 1980, drag bar but dreadful female singer, dragging up people from the crowd like some 2nd rate holiday camp & the ‘queens’ looked like the ugly sisters from a very bad production of Cinderella. My cocktail was absolutely rank too- avoid avoid avoid! Terrys Bar is a fantastic venue, skip this sham & head elsewhere.

I used to love Ricky's when it was smaller & more intimate. Came back tonight & it just wasn't for me. Rough crowd..imagine the worst chavs, alchies & druggies from Blackpool & Benidorm, multiply it by 10 & you have your audience. It's like the Jeremy Kyle show on steroids. I'm afraid the Queens are more like truck drivers than your Ru Paul variety. Each to their own but not my scene.

Not the Rickys we knew and loved, used to be a great showbar, now a very poor imitation of its former self! Very poor drink selection, very tired drag artists, and no peggy wessex!! She was rickys , love hellon and vsnity but the rest are very very boring ! Always went here but much better shows on now elsewhere ! The new layout of 2 bars to terrible , whoever thought of that needs fired! Its just 2 bars thrown together with no thought for the audience , used to be a cosy fun bar, now a bland open spaces with drag queens in the middle ! Really horrible place now !

Oh dear, when/where did it go all wrong? We went for a drag show and instead got a PG pantomime. Wizard of Oz and all. Where were the risque innuendos, the filth, the vulgarity? Only one person sang live, the rest were mimed. This kind of stuff reminds me of London in the 80’s (with the exception of the incomparable Trollettes). Raise your game ladies. This is Ricky’s at the Yumbo, not a Pontins!

We never actually went to Ricky's but tried drinking in Voulezvous bar next door over several nights. Trouble is, Ricky's have their speakers up so loud that music can't be heard in Voulezvous and spoked our experience. Voulezvous offers such a relaxed drinking atmosphere spoiled by Ricky's.
