It’s a journey over the mountains but worth it. The view (andthe breeze!) as you first come round and see the beach is amazing. It’s rough road down and your hire car may not be insured so read the small print. The beach is massive...More

This place is really nice, wide beach and mountain - magical. There is an old cementery on the beach near the parking place. We've been told that we need an off road car to get there but it is not true. The road is not...More

Sandwiched between the wild, passionate Atlantic and a hauntingly desolate mountain range that forms the backbone of the Jandia peninsula Playa de Cofete is a wide beach that stretches as far as the eye can see. Sparsely populated with isolated dunes near the car park,...More

We enjoyed drinks at this charming bar, then returned for a lunch. Our fellow travellers had the Gambas Aioli, whilst we had Calamares - both choices were well cooked and presented, and the courtesy of the staff cannot be faulted. The choice of meals and...More

There is a public bus timetabled twice a day from Morro Jable bus station. In March 2019 the morning bus left at 10:00 and arrived a little before 11:00. The bus goes from the station to Morro Jable harbour then down the coast road towards...More

Well if you can put up with the hour drive along dusty track thru the mountains then worth a visit. Beach is wind swept but scenic.

lovely walk on the shoreline - clean and crystal clear water very quiet but it could have been due to time of year. Windy at times but did not spoil our enjoyment

What a fabulous, wild and wonderful beach to visit. Not to be missed. Too windy to sit and too rough to swim in January but what an experience to walk on this amazing beach.

Hi Charlie, Its an unmade road - dirt track but its fine if you take it easy. There is a rocky but at the top of the pass but its only for a short distance. I took a hire car without damaging it :) have fun.
