Visited with my mum and sister 29th August this year for a snorkelling excursion. (picked up from Fergus suites) The driver that picked us up seemed uninterested and annoyed. Once we arrived we confirmed our booking and were shooed into a changing room and left to own devices. We didn't know what to leave and what to take on the boat so I had to go up to the desk and ask, all one word answers. We decided to copy what other people were doing so put our belongings into the lockers (they keep the key for while you're out which defies the purpose) We were called to go to the boat so we followed the group and were the last people on there so preferred seats in the shade were taken, so we had to sit on metal lined plastic benches that had been cooking in the sun so I burnt the back of my legs upon sitting down - a staff member saw and got the hose out and splashed it on all of us to cool it down, thus taking off our freshly applied suncream. 20-30 minutes go by and we have all just been sat in silence with our snorkels in our laps whilst one staff member (the uninterested driver from before) looked across the dock seeming deep in thought. Finally a man from our group spoke up and said "what are we waiting for" to which he replied "for the instructor to come back on other boat" - so he then said "why are we all just sat on the boat when we could have been sat in the reception area with refreshments - I'm going back" but we had drifted away from the dock ready to set off so therefore we were stuck. Another 5 or so minutes go by and the other boat comes back. By this time me and my family had gone to stand under the small amount of shade available, basically hanging over the other passengers that were sat down because we'd been sat in direct sunlight for the past half an hour with no access to drinks. Finally we set off on the excursion, we landed at the first site and were told to put our flippers on and stay between the two guides. The water was quite choppy & we weren't told any sort of plan so we jumped in and sort of drifted from each other. At this point myself and my sister could see my mum was struggling with the waves and were trying to help her out. It gets a little confusing while snorkelling as you lose sight of each other a lot. Myself and my sister reached each other around a big rock (we couldn't see where we'd just come from anymore) and she told me she was worried as she couldn't see our mum. We were closer to the back of the group so we swam to the guide at the back who told us that she didn't know where she was and to swim to the front to check with him, she also said he wouldn't be much help because he doesn't have his glasses on! (this is absolutely despicable as these are people who are supposed to be accountable for everybody's safety!!!) We proceeded to swim as fast as we could to the front, not seeing mum along the way & told him that she was missing. He told us he couldn't do anything and basically shooed us to the guide at the back again. (this is the same uninterested driver mentioned before) We waited for the guide at the back and she told us she's probably on the boat or something. We then swam to the boat and found that she was there. She told us that she had told the guide she was struggling and swam back to the boat. Apparently this guide couldn't be less concerned as she didn't bother to keep an eye on her after their conversation otherwise she'd have known that she went back to the boat! My sister was in bits as she really thought something bad had happened to our mother. I know that the captain saw how upset she was - not sure if the two guides were bothered enough to pay attention to this. At the next stop both my mum and sister stayed on the boat as they were too exhausted and upset to get in the water again. I went in and further tired myself out, so I was quite knackered once back at the boat. The guides told us we'd be stopping somewhere on the way back to the docks in "calm" waters so that we could have a swim without snorkels + flippers. Then they proceeded to stop in the MIDDLE OF THE OCEAN where the waves were choppier than anything before. We all jumped in and I decided to float on my back for a moment to decompress when all of a sudden I hear shouting from my mum and sister. I turn back up to see that the current had taken me far away from the boat. All of the fast swimming and worrying before had made me pretty tired so this made for a completely exhausting swim back. I really don’t like making a fuss so when my mum shouted to ask if I was OK I just put my thumb up. I really felt for a second that I would run out of energy to battle the current. I don’t recall if any staff was watching me come back but I do think that they weren’t aware that I was even in any danger. Once back at the boat I was really out of breath, exhausted and overwhelmed so I sat down and was silent. We arrived back at the dock and were directed back to the building where we got dried off and dressed. We wanted to have 5 minutes outside to have a drink and a rest however our driver wasn’t having any of it and basically shouted, stomped and gave us attitude until we got in the car. She said she had “places to be”. A short, bumpy and several missed gear drive later we were back at our hotel- finally safe and sound. It could have been a fantastic trip - it was completely ruined by the uninterested staff. I feel appalled that our safety wasn't on anybody's priority list. I don't understand any of this because many of the other reviews are so nice - why were my family subjected to this treatment?

If you’re in the Santa Ponsa area of Majorca and wish to go diving get in touch with Zoea A fantastic dive centre that I felt welcomed at and nothing was too much trouble they made sure everything ran on time and were very organised as well as being so welcoming to everyone. Special thanks to Moreno who I spent most of my dives with showing me the delights of el toro and also to Matt who to guided us around La Mola where I found an octopus out for a swim On top of that hundreds of Barracuda and big groupers as well as lots of interesting nudibranch Next time I’m in the area I will definitely dive with them again

Really enjoyed the kayaking - family of 5 with mixed age kids (oldest 15 down to 8) but worked really well. Nacho took us to the best spots for a bit of scubaing and would tow if we got a bit tired! Highly recommend.

Fantastic day kayaking and snorkelling! The staff were very friendly and helpful, pick up and drop off from our hotel made the experience really easy. The whole process was well organised. We did the guided tour, a staff member goes out with you in a safety boat incase anyone has any difficulties, but the route was scenic and not too challenging, suitable for beginners. We were taken to a couple of spots to snorkel where we saw plenty of different fish, the waters were calm and very clear. Would definitely recommend.

Great experience diving with ZOEA dive centre. Boats where well organised and so where the divers and guide. It was a very well run operation from start to finish and I felt very well taken care of and in a safe and happy environment which is really all I want when I dive.
