The dive centre, equipment, and facilities are all in good condition and the dives were good with plenty of sea life to see and I was confident with Daniel our guide. My hesitation is that this is a big and busy dive centre and the whole experience wasn’t as relaxed and easy going (but competent) as I like. The system to get you kitted up, on the boat, and in the water is efficient but it did feel like I was being processed through a system.

I've visited Zoea and did 4 dives with a dive master "Jenny" and couple of other divers like myself. The equipment we were given was in very good condition, they made sure it all fit and that we had tanks we've asked for. The dive sites they took us to were absolutely amazing, with a lot of marine life - large schools of fish including barracuda, some groupers and other smaller ones. We've also seen a handful of octopuses! Overall I recommend the school as they are well prepared, their staff is helpful and they have access to cool sites located in / near marine reserves.

We turned up for our first go at paddle boarding and was surprised it was in the middle of the marina. We were told to stay on our knees while in the marina and paddle up the channel and turn right over to the beaches. Paddling out the marina wasn’t the easiest of tasks with boats coming in both direction but we made it out. After turning right and paddling along for a bit with no beaches in sight just large jaggy rocks my partner tried standing up with out success, he fell straight off and really struggled to get back on the board, he clambered to hold onto the rocks while he tried getting his breath. After I took the paddle off him and a bit of a struggle he managed to pull himself up onto the board but I wouldn’t have been able to get myself back on the board so not sure what would have happened had I or my partners 16year old daughter had fell in the water. We did paddle further a long where there was a shallower bit so I did manage to stand up and paddle as I felt safe doing so there. Overall it would have been a much better experience had you paddled off the shore and not out of the marina dodging boats and paddling around big sharp rocks, I’d say this base is not the best place for paddle boarding and maybe a little dangerous for beginners !
