Our favourite place for entertainment in Santa Ponsa. We have been coming to Santa Ponsa for many years now and Jevan and all the staff always make us feel at home and like part of their extended family. Drinks are very reasonably priced and McTavishes Kitchen (shout out to Ashley and Hannah) serves great food. Depending on the time of year there is always football, tennis etc to watch and in the evenings great acts like Stevie B, Abba Infinity, Apple and the Pips,etc to entertain the masses. And not forgetting DJ Jon who is a star in his own right. The atmosphere and the craic is always great and we cannot wait to back in the summer.

We have always been a fan of the bar and come to Santa ponsa as often as we can Had some great memorable nights here but some of the live acts seem to be missing the mark this time around. ABBA were really great and all were up and dancing, they really seemed to enjoy what they were doing. Freddie mercury / Robbie Williams (Liam) didn’t sound like either singer and made minimal effort with his look… yellow jacket on and he’s Freddie,,, jacket off and hey presto he’s Robbie Williams. a bit of expensive karaoke for the owners sadly Was looking forward to seeing Elvis but try as hard as he could it didn’t quite hit the mark until oddly he sang sweet Caroline and then all responded well to a Neil diamond song…. I guess there may be a limited talent pool but I would say to the owners look at your punters… their faces will tell you who is hitting the mark and who isn’t Guinness is nice and 6€ a pint, tenants €4 DJ Jon and his sparkly shoes is still in residence and his quirky approach hasn’t changed. Plays good music!

We've just came back from our 9 night holiday and spent pretty much every night with these guys and loved every second of it. Some nights we probably spent too long and feeling bit ill the next day but that'll be too much gin. Best entertainment the guys put on a great show and I've honestly never seen a karaoke bar run aswell. Kitchen opens at 9.30am for breakfast and the bar is open until the wee hours of the morning. If your heading to santa ponsa you must try this bar. Lovely friendly staff. We'll be back next year

We went here for a snack and drink when we arrived. Very good, decided to go to tribute RocketWham act on our last night. Oh dear.... Let's just say that we ended up in Stepps listening to REAL singers

The heart of Santa Ponsa. Our absolute favourite and the gem of the bay. The breakfast is by far the best in the area and the staff are just the most welcoming, friendly and lovely people. They all work tirelessly to keep customers happy and for everyone to have an enjoyable time. By night, the entertainment is fantastic and of course the karaoke is brilliant and so much fun. Jon is a fabulous host and always keeps everyone amused and the evening flows faultlessly. A brilliant host and entertainer. Our third year in a row and every night spent here. We look forward to next year!

Always a fab night in McTavishes. High quality entertainment, the best MC/karaoke DJ who gets everyone involved. Friendly hard working bar staff. Good range of drinks in a large air conditioned bar. Kitchen does great breakfasts and snacks. Recommend a visit for anyone going to Santa Ponsa. You’ll arrive as a stranger and leave with new friends

Fab atmosphere, made to feel very welcome. DJ John sings well and is funny too! (He also remembered where we'd come from as he'd seen us a couple of days ago) said hello as soon as we got in and spoke to me at the bar. Air conditioning very very welcome tonight, proper drinks and measures, great music and tribute acts. We've been in twice this holiday and will be back again for 80s tribute on Friday. We love it! ❤️

Recently visited Santa Ponsa and went to Mc Tavishes most nights of our holiday. The entertainment is great, tribute acts and a great group called Applie and the Pips. The DJ / Compare Jon makes the place with his jokes and music, if you also like karaoke this is the place for you. I’d recommend a visit.

McTavishes in Santa Ponsa is great. Just great! A fab place for a night out on holiday. It’s so welcoming and everyone is friendly. The staff are great and there’s just a good vibe every night! McTavishes is a Scottish bar where the walls are adorned by football shirts, almost exclusively Scottish teams but a few others. There is a great DJ / Karaoke night every day, followed by a singing act. Our favourite is Liam Live, who does two different shows - one as Freddie Mercury and Robbie Williams and one as Elton John and George Michael. They also have ABBA tributes and various other singalong shows. We go back every time we come to Mallorca and can’t wait to visit again…

This soon became our local- friendly staff, great live music and an amazing DJ. I have never known karaoke to last as long, and this is all down to DJ Jon. He was so personable (& a little bit funny I suppose), also remembered us every night. DJ Jon and the rest of McTavishes genuinely completed holiday!! Couldn’t recommended it enough, this is a must visit!!!
