Great and long sandy beach. It has sunbeds and umbrellas you can get for 13,5 euros (2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella). Two beach bars. Plenty of shade from trees so if you do not want to pay for umbrellas you can lay under a tree. A park is next to the beach, and lots of shops and restaurants.

The beach is wide and sandy with a very shallow and calm sea. The water is lovely and even non swimmers can get a long way out to sea without being out of their depth.
Pedalos are available at a reasonable €15 per hour.

Love this beach so much, and if you put goggles or snorkelling gear on you can see loads of fish and the coral. It offers plenty of bars, I recommend the Verdemar as it is cheap for a drink. The sea is Chrystal clear, however you have to pay for a sun bed, we just used towels.

It's nice place it's kinda on a mountain so lots of hills. I wouldn't advise going if you have mobility issues but beautiful to look around some fantastic views to be had if you are able to walk up alot of steps
It looks over the bay area. I've been to a few places around the world now and santa ponsa is up with the greats. I'm 33 so I'm in the middle bracket (if you well) I like night life and like my sleep at night this place has a great mix to suit all ages. Lots of nice food places bars and little cafés. I won't say in this post any names tho. It took us about 35 minutes to reach the resort from Palma Airport it can be done quicker I'm sure. If you have any questions just ask I will be around to help most evening and weekends GMT (UK time). 😍😍 Thanks for the support and help I have had on here. 😍😍

no need to pay for beds, as there is plenty of room to lay your towel out and relax.
Lovely clean beach - toilets located close by, and there are a few restaurants on the beach, without having to nip to mcdonalds across the road.
if you stand with your back to mcdonalds, to the right, there are lots of rocks that you can also relax on, and put your towels on - and have your own little area, but there are lots of people that walk by.
The storm drain does stink though - so you're better off not sunbathing (or swimming) near it.
Great sunset on a night time

Surprisingly large with plenty of beds and umbrellas. Clean and really soft sand, gets busy but we never felt crowded. Loads of bars and restaurants for drinks, lunch, beer. Nothing to complain about, it’s excellent.

Not much of a beach person, but the Mrs dragged me and the kid here a couple of times on our recent stay. The beach has sand, sun, and sea, so ticked all the boxes.

Beach is clean, water nice and clear and warm. Not too busy with shops and bars very close by, which was handy as I spent most of the visit walking back and forth buying ice cream and water, then fizzy water, then diet coke, then an inflatable and so on. Was great the shop was so close.

Mrs got sunburnt, which proves that this beach is suitable for falling asleep on in-between shouting shop orders.

Very nice place to visit with 2 types of beach, a nice small quiet bay and a large sandy one, we would recommend this place to anyone wanting either a quiet stay or a big noisy one !! check out which side of the bay you need to go to !!

A beautiful beach, backed by lovely subTropical woodlands. Good array of bars and restaurants, especially along the boardwalk where hotels and apartments are located as well as on the southern side of the beach/bay. Something for every palate. A great range of bars and restaurants surround the beach.
The beach itself is deep and wide and the sand is soft and deep. Straw parasols are plentiful. Very popular with a wide array of multi cultures and nationalities. Children's entertainment at different stages of the day. Last week was a huge religious festival of some type possibly commemorating a victory, presumably, by the Spainish over the English??. The weekend had rock bands performing all day and nearly all night😄😄. I know because as a heavy sleeper I was awakened by the sudden silence around 5am on the Saturday morning. This type of occurrence is rare tbh, as SP is usually quiet with a distinct absence of lager louts. A good demographic is to be found in the resort and subsequently on the beach area.
Playa is a well accommodated beach area. The rocky coast either side has shallow bathing natural pools, less crowded than the beach but not appropriate for weak swimmers or children under say 18. A glass bottomed boat leaves the docking area frequently. I didn't use it myself, but plenty if smiling faces disembarking, presumably happy with their brief excursion. The boardwalk, adjacent to the beach, is very pleasant but is by way of hotel and local bar areas, which permit beach access to the neighbouring hotels and apartments, so is easily accessible. Prices in the bars and restaurants, due to competitiveness, are very affordable and the food is generally of good quality. There is a pirates themed hotel on one of the main thoroughfares, which is ideal for families.
This is one of the best, if not best beach I have ever visited. For the more energetic adjacent to the beach is a prolonged flight of stairs of varying quality and depth, rising to the expensive housing area overlooking the beach and the town. Not easy, but very worthwhile as the view is nothing short of sensational, so attractive, I climbed them everyday. I train daily so was not too challenge, but there are breaks where the views are still very good, mbut don't quite match those from the very top.
Playa SP is a place where a whole holiday can be spent. Very relaxing and a short walk to shops Bazar type shops and some higher end. A beach area for all tastes and demographic.
My favourite beach of all. Lovely atmosphere.
