My preferred beach when I am in Salou, it is used a lot by the locals, it is at the bottom of the hill so a steep walk down and then back up.
There are sunbeds to hire if you want shade, I prefer to just lie on my towel.
The sea is clear, you can even see the fish swim past you (drop a few bread crumbs I didn't but I watched someone else do it. It is perfectly safe, no current that I could tell, there is a lifeguard and enough bins to put litter in.
Very clean beach, not sure why in England we trash ours with crap after a day out

Capellans beach is a beautiful small beach just a short walk from the main beach in salou if you have small kids it's a lot easier to watch them. There are toilets and a life guard .I would recommend this place to anyone in salou.

Nice beach. Rather busy with lots of families. Disgusting toilets. Ladies toilets broken all week I was there. Had to share the mens. Someone had been rather ill all over the place and it was not cleaned. Smell was awful. Sunbeds 5 Euros, extra if you want a brolly. Fix the toilets and it would be great.

This is a great beach - we were happy to walk 50 mins along coast route to get to it for a change of scene and a great lunch. It has nice shallow warters, great to snorkel in, is a large beach with good facilities. The beach bar is good serving a wide selection of food and drink though we didn't lunch here - we went to the café/restaurant on the beach front and I can heartily recommend the sardinas and sangria.

An amazing beach to spend the day with your family. Salou is just amazing and having the swings and play areas along the beach was fab. Also there were a few bars along the way 🤗. Hope to see you this year salou.

A truly hidden gem, a nice small beach, a little off the beaten track of Salou. Felt safe and private, had some shade under the trees to the back of it in the afternoon, a kids' playground, motor sports and beach chairs/umbrellas available for rent (until 6pm) when they kick you off of them haha... loved the clean and smooth water, rarely any huge waves. gorgeous lighting along the boardwalk at night.

Lovely beach which is popular with up locals as would be expected. Could see it from our hotel room.
Two places to eat but not great if you don't like fish or burgers.
We walked round to the seafront to eat at Bamboo which is excellent.
