I loved my time in PortAventura World, it was a 30 minute walk from my accomodation in Salou (one downside is PortAventura hotels are EXPENSIVE) PortAventura is perhaps most well known for it being the residence of the tallest rollercoaster in Europe, Shambhala. I absolutely loved this ride, while the big drop may seem intimidating, it's the smoothest ride I... More

All theme parks are a rip off and you spend most the day in a q. Noting different here and once you get on a ride here there is a great selection. I didn't buy an express band but my wife and young child where never gonna go on the big rides so it was just me. I discovered working... More

Lots going on for all. From thrill seekers to folk who prefer to watch a show or chill out in the restaurants.

This place has lots of rides and entertainment shows through out the day. Stays open very late - so even though there are queues you have time to get round. They are quiet strict on the height rules so don't think you can get away with it. The show at the end is really poor though! Not worth waiting for.... More

We paid for 2 days at the adventure park and 2 days at the water park. After queuing for 3 hours for the ice age ride which lasted just 7 minuted. It broke when we were trying to get off it. The queuing times are absolutely awful. After paying £200 in tickets. They then expect you to pay a further... More

My husband and 15 year old daughter went to PortAventura World. We got the evening tickets and bought the fast tracks as well which I would recommend doing as the queues are quite long for the big rides. The rides were really good and not for the faint hearted11

We love this park..great rides and lovely shows. Also very decorative. Many food places..quick 'junk food' and nice restaurants. Best way is to stay at hotel and definately have fast passes for your stay. We have just returned..so busy time of year..but barely queued for most of it. Next time we will get unlimited fast passes..We had fast pass gold... More

We have been here several times whilst on holidays on the Costa Dorada. It's great place for both grownup kids and even small ones. It can get busy at times at the pay on the day kiosks so make sure, if able, to buy tickets before you go. Its best to get the actual tickets rather than a voucher that... More

I'm 62 and this is not for me . definitely for the young ones who are prepared to queue for hours for a ride lasting 2 minutes.. Tourist rip off on prices. Cannot bring your own food and drink other than water. Never ever again..
