About
The House of Illusion presents a brand new show for 2021 At the House of Illusion, you will be taken on a journey through a mysterious world of comedy, sleight of hand, manipulation, escapology and of course grand Illusion. You will be greeted by our attentive staff at the top of the grand staircase and will be escorted to our beautiful Houdini's Attic terrace or Houdini Lounge where you can enjoy a drink whilst you wait for your entrance into the theatre. The night begins as you are entertained at your tables by our close up magicians, and presented with a delicious meal (with the dinner ticket) and all inclusive drinks. The amazement starts to kick in as we explore a world full of mystery, magic, and bewilderment. You will be full of amazement as the performers leave you lost for words with shadowography, manipulation, theatre of the mind, and of course grand, mind-blowing Illusions! You will experience truly spectacular happenings all in the space of one night.

Fantastic- wow!!
Fantastic experience. We came two years ago and loved it, so we’re keen to do it again.

The show and meal set up has changed due to covid, but for the better. The meal was wonderful, with good wine and a lovely team of staff.

The show is really great, it keeps you interested and entertained the whole time, with lots of gasps, wows and laughter.

Our 8 year old son was fascinated and was even taken up on stage to be elevated- he has no idea how it happened and keeps watching our video.

I can thoroughly recommend this to anyone who wants a great evening out doing something different and memorable.

Best two nights ever !!
Oct 2020
The owner stopped us on a zebra crossing in Salou and asked us to pop in. We had a wander along the beach and popped up to the bar for a quick drink at 7.30pm, we did not leave until 12.30am. The atmosphere was brilliant, the staff made us feel at home, the place looks lovely, and the entertainment was brilliant. Harry with his cards, Lee's voice and Mark's drinks kept us happy all night. Our ages range from 48yrs down to 3yrs including a 16yr old, and we were all really pleased with our choice. So much so that we returned for an all inclusive evening on the Friday. 3 course meal, as much as we could drink and fantastic entertainment for an all in price. It was as full as it could be with the dreaded Coronavirus, but we all felt safe with the cleanliness and mask wearing. This is a must visit venue in Salou. We will definitely be going back, like many others.

Lovely dinner made better by impromptu magician
Sep 2020 • Couples
We visited House of illusion in Sep2020 when shows were limited due to COVID-19. We had dinner on the terrace and our 3 course meal was delicious!
Harry the magician was friendly and talented and made a lovely meal an entertaining evening. He and the singer were both brilliant.
Well worth a visit and we look forward to going back and seeing the actual shows.

The best night of our holiday!
Sep 2020 • Family
Attended House of Illusion last night as a family of 3, with a 6 year old. It was by far the best night out we've had all holiday. We started the evening on the stunning terrace at Houdini's Attic before being shown into the theatre. We were made to feel very welcome. The staff were fantastic!! Super friendly and attentive. We enjoyed free flowing drinks as well as a gorgeous meal. The food was outstanding. The best meal we've had since being in Salou and plenty of it!! It was absolutely delicious!! There were magicians performing close up magic at our table at the start of the evening keeping us well entertained before the main event.

The show itself was fantastic! Rodney and his team performed amazing tricks and illusions which kept us all amazed and fascinated!! It truly is a show perfect for everyone. We loved it!!

We will definitely be back!! Thank you 😁

AMAZED,MIND BLOWING ENTERTAINMENT
Jul 2019 • Family
We have been to The House of Illusion show 7 times now🤩. Every year we bring family and ftiends to experience the Wow factor of Rodney and his team.

You begin on the beautiful rooftop terrace where you can enjoy yummy branded drinks, Jack Daniels and coke is massive!! Strawberry daiquiri is to die for🍓🍹. All drinks are very reasonably priced great value for money.

There is also close up magic on the terrace where the magicians get everyone envolved my son loved this and ways eager to assist😃.

Then dinner is served with a fab selection of chicken and fries, desert ice-cream and endless beer sangria and soft drinks throughout the whole evening. If you need more of anything just raise your hand and one of the awesome staff attend your every need!!

After dinner the lights dim and the spectacular show starts. Im not going into any detail reg the contents of the show but WOW and GASPS at every turn🤩😱🔮🎩💕💫.

This is one show than CANNOT and SHOULD NOT be missed when on holiday in salou. DEFINITELY A ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ RATING FROM THE GREGORY FAMILY.

Keep up the FABULOUS work guys, we hope to see you soon 👍💋

Magical show
Aug 2019 • Family
A really great night out for the family. We did the late show which was including free drinks. A nice relaxing roof top bar to have a drink before the show. After the show have another drink at the bar and meet the stars of the show. The stars of the show will keep you entertained with some after show up close magic. Rodney the host of the show makes sure you have a good time. Give it a go and I hope you enjoy it like we did. Watch Big time magic up close.

Good family show must see!
Sep 2019 • Family
From start to finish we loved it the drinks package was good as well although probably became slightly merrier than I would normally of been. The meal was the only let down as it was just basic fried chicken and chips .... but the show is fantastic for all the family old and young !

What a rip off!
Oct 2019 • Friends
I was so looking fwd to this as had to cancel twice last year due to my husband being ill. We paid €49.99 each for party of 4. The venue itself is nice n the balcony terrace is lovely. All the acts taking place are very nice people but the couple of blonde waitresses who just dump the food and jugs of drink on your table can't even muster up a smile and strut abt like they really don't want to be there. Now for the most negative part of the evening....the food n drink. When you inquire you are told the meal consists of chicken, fries n salad anr the sweet is ice cream. Drinks consist of jugs beer, Sangria,Red n White wine and soft drinks. The meal n drink n show are all included in the price....as much food and drinks mentioned above as you want. Don't be fooled....the standard of the 'so called meal' is nothing short of an insult n is a total rip off. You get all the food dumped onto your table in cardboard containers (similar to large KFC buckets. This wouldn't be so bad if the chicken was of the standard n tasty like KFC ... but unfortunately it isn't! It consists of what is probably the cheapest type of chicken legs (which are no doubt bought in as frozen) which have been either heated up in an oven or microwave and taste awful, another bucket of fries and a bucket of salad leaves which have just been emptied straight out the bag into the bucket. I did not see any cucumber or tomatoes or any other salad items but my husband said he did find 2 cherry tomatoes lurking at the bottom of the tub. The most chicken any of our party could eat was 2 legs but the other 3 in our party could only stomach one each. The fries weren't too bad but the so called salad wasn't worth bothering abt. Now for the ice cream....Well...what can I say abt that....NOT A LOT!! The unsmiling waitress then appeared with a old style cinema type container which had very small (similar type ice cream that you get if you go to a chinese buffet abroad) plastic individual type containers of ice cream which was had been out the freezer too long and was soft n spongy and utterly inedible. The whole meal was nothing short of absolutely disgusting and apart from a starving group of refugees was not of an acceptable standard at all. The drinks now. The jugs of beer seemingly were not great but drinkable. The white wine tasted like vinegar. The red wine wasn't much better but had it's purpose as to adding to the so called Sangria which was the worst we had ever tasted anywhere. It was tasteless n weak n had none the usual fruit in it. When we asked if we could be given another jug of Sangria but could they make it stronger the waitress told us it all came out a barrel and she could not do anything abt it. That was when we decided to make the best out of it n added some the red wine to give it a bit of body n bit more taste but it was still far from the normal Sangria normally served everywhere else. We were all so very disappointed with the whole experience and left promptly at 9.30 when the show ended. The only positive aspects were the performers themselves who all did seem like really nice people. I would especially like to mention Harry...who was only 19yrs old but had been performing there for 2 seasons and was very good indeed and would like to say the the finale of the show was a most impressive event (without spoiling it for anyone else who mite, after this very truthful review) still want to go n see the show. The performers were all outside the venue after the show to mix with the customers n have a chat. There is a later show which does not include food (I would imagine this would be slightly cheaper) and I would advise anyone to perhaps choose this option as for the price of €49.99 per person the quality of the food served was definitely not of a acceptable standard and def not in any way enjoyable. I was really so looking forward to this venue and we went as my birthday nite out but would never go again n def not recommend anyone to choose the meal option
