- Gerry G1 contributionBest CraicGreat place and great staff, who were so friendly. We went over for a stag weekend and had the best craic in Danny Boys Bar. A special shout out to Nikki and Emma who looked after us all whilst we were there. Live music every night you just couldn't beat it. Highly recommend 👌Visited April 2023Traveled with friendsWritten May 1, 2023

The live music really let it down this time both nights we went on this holiday. Hopefully better acts will be booked soon.Visited May 2023Traveled with friendsWritten May 28, 2023

With an Irish themed interior with excellent Irish themed fixtures and features and lots of good seating options'its a fantastic pub to have a few beers. When we visited here we had a few bottle's of Estrella Damm Cerveza Mediterrània'an excellent Spanish lager which were served iced cold but a tad expensive.Taking away the price its a superb pub in a superb area of Salou and well worth going to.(This is my first review of Danny Boys). He was prompt, a careful driver and his car was spotless! Due to an approaching hurricane, he arrived 25 minutes early to bring us back to the airport due to anticipated crowds on the roads and in the airport. He drove carefully and we beat the crowds easily!Visited October 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten October 20, 2023

A great looking pub ,its two roomed ,pubby decor and furnishings, a cool looking serving bar, big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, its just a great pub to unwind in. We were here on a warm August night, pub was packed, we got bottles of San Miguel beer, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back and took in the great pub we were in. A big fan of this famous Spanish beer, the beer I most associate with Spain, its a light and hoppy lager style beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink especially when served freezing cold as in this pub. We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Danny Boy is easy to locate along Avenida Andorra. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 7pm till 3am. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.Visited August 2023Traveled with familyWritten October 31, 2023

If you’re looking for a fantastic night then this is the place to go. Greeted at the door by Joe who loves the craic, especially a bit of dark humour! Amazing live music from Dale, he’ll play any request you have, except Westlife but we couldn’t hold that against him because he is unbelievably talented. A lively, welcoming atmosphere is created by all staff but I must mention Lauren, Nikki, Saoirse, Dean and Jordy, you made our night each time we went. We did not get the chance to try the food but it looked fantastic and we will absolutely be back to try it and to see those mentioned above, we’ll miss our nights screaming along to the music, Danny Boy Bombs in hand. Thank you to everyone in the place for making our holiday, from the two Dublin teachers who already can’t wait to come back

Walked in, ordered a round of drinks. I then realised that the two singers were belting out pro IRA songs and encouraging anti British chants. We quickly left, never to return. Racist and no place in todays society.

A disappointing visit to Danny boys on this occasion. We have visited several times before on year past and always enjoyed but today that was not the case.
I ordered chicken curry half&half and what I was served was what could only be described as a child's portion for €12.50 (see picture) my husband got fish and chips fish was a good size chips on the side he had about 6chips, ridiculous. We ordered a burger and chips for our little girl and while cutting up the burger to cool it down we found a long dark hair in the beef patty, now we threw it on the floor and passed it off that it could happen to anyone but half the beef patty was burnt which of course she wouldn't eat, but this was not the end of the mishaps. I ordered a coke zero and was served Pepsi max which is fine but there was a chunk of paper in my glass, so annoying when u have already let one inconvenience go. The server was very apologetic so for that I am thankful.
I am hopeful we just came on an off day but probably won't venture back on this trip which is a pity.

Was in salou for a week an this was clearly the bar to go. Was busy every time we went past and pulling groups in from the streets. We had young children so came early one evening so hubby could watch the rugby and kids have some tea. Nice staff good pub. An Irish.. Well kind of served Guinness and had Irish flags lol

When will Danny boys be opening for 2020? I know it’s very early to ask but don’t want to book a holiday if places I like aren’t open, I presume it’s first week in april?

This bar plays all types of music to suit the mood of the clientele as requests are often asked for. Irish theme and good beers etc...but not a diddly dee bar.

Yes as far as I know. It's a pub so it would be normal to be open all year around.
