Staff where very friendly and welcoming but the biking wasn’t as good as expected. We did a lot of talking and messing around to do 45mins/1 hour freewheel downhill on the bikes. Good way to see some nice views outside of cambrils.

We booked and did the morning downhill cycle, after a practice and fine tune to individual bikes to suit everyone, and instructions on safety etc,we were taken to the first downhill run about 7 km followed by another run of 14km, mainly downhill with a few more challengeing parts, then followed by a cold drink and time to relax at cafe next to a dam, it is run by two great guys who were informative and made sure everyone was fine,i won the gold medal a nice token maybe out of pity haha, all the best in the future.

We were collected from our hotel by Duncan, immediately we felt at ease, he was very friendly and funny. We met up with other cyclists and our other hosts Rob and Ian and we were each allocated a bike, helmet and hi-viz jacket and Rob explained what we would be doing and where. We all had a practice cycle and were then ready to go. We were driven up into the mountains and were ready to enjoy our adventure. If you are unable to complete the whole ride Rob just picks you up in the truck puts your bike on the trailer and drops you off at the next spot where you can continue your ride. No fuss and done discreetly as well . The whole experience from start to finish was just great. We loved the banter from these guys but also the professionalism. Everything from was thought out meticulously even down to the conservation of the area we were cycling. We also got a video as a reminder. Thanks guys we had a fabulous time. Rob,Ian and Duncan certainly made the whole experience amazing and we would definitely recommend the downhill bikes.

We booked the half day morning downhill cycle, and were picked up right outside our hotel by the Guide for the day (Ian) super friendly and enthusiastic right from the start! Taken to a quiet road to practice the bikes, they also check your speed/ability so they can set you off in small groups on the hills. Excellent job of setting up the bikes, and provided with free water during the day which was a bonus! After they check your safety and give you a briefing we drove up to the hills, Ian told us all about the area, history and loads of info on the way up. And then we got to the hills and started our downhill cycle. The roads were fab, they tell you you can go any speed, and we set off in the front faster group, i had to actually slow myself down to enjoy the views!! Which were spectacular. So much to see and the fresh air was fab after coming from a busy resort. There was some small uphill/pedals required parts on the course which I thought some of the older participants might struggle with, but everyone got back having done the whole cycle, so I guess if you just take it at your own pace then it's pretty much accessible for everyone! Ended the ride at a little dam with a bar in a small shack! Very rural and quaint, excellent gin! Take some money with you if you want a snack there, ice cream, drinks, crisps etc. And the guides will sell you some local sugar coated hazlenuts which are amazing! $20 to buy the usb stick with photos from the day on it, we didn't buy this as we had a lot of our own pictures we'd taken during the day. Overall an excellent day out one of our favourite things about the holiday!
