Nice place set up in the hills with great views! 10euro each to enter which is worth it, nice lady gives a tuturial on the hour so you can learn the different facts, there is a cafe which you can go in and out of with no time limit on tickets etc. If you do however go on a cloudy/cool... More

So many beautiful butterflies that don't mind landing on your head and shoulders and moths the size of your hand! Staff offer a nice little talk on the lifespan of the butterfly and moth. On entering we were given a sheet and pencil to identify the butterflies spotted and that kept our little one busy. It does get very hot... More

This is a wonderful place to spend an hour or two. You get to see butterflies 'hatching' and flying off into the trees which was really nice. Nicely laid out and as butterfly houses go it is big . It is a bit of a pain to get to without a car as the buses aren't very frequent. The info... More

Visited here, was susprised at how interesting it was, you get to see butterfly's and moths emerging from their crystallises and fly around, costs 10 euro to get in but plenty to see, they have a iguana, wallaby, lots of flowers on show as well as the butterfly's and moths, worth the visit.

The staff are lovely here, very friendly and happy. On saying that you couldn't be unhappy in such a beautiful place. We were lucky enough to see a stunning butterfly take its first flight and although you are not to touch the butterflies they will land on you, however there are plenty of opportunities to see these wonderful insects up... Albeit the place is smaller than you might expect, it is instructive to go there with young kids (ours were 11 and 7) as you get to see a diverse 'crowd' of butterflies. I would highly recommend taking the time to listen to the short introduction to understand better what actually butterflies lifecycle is. My younger daughter was anxious when... More
