The park no longer has the extensive wildlife it used to have. Gone it seems are the terrapins, rabbits and chickens. Noticeably less birds on the water. The grounds are still nice. Work was taking place so on our visit could not walk all around the lake. However still a nice place for a wander

This gorgeous park is tucked away behind Benal Beach resort and we'll worth a visit to pass a few hours. Easily the best kept park I've visited in Spain. Between the lost heads display, cactus garden, lake, cafe's and the goats with ridiculously large plums there is plenty to see.

We visited Park de Paloma after it was recommended. On first approach it looks a little rough due to work being carried out outside but inside is a family friendly environment to spend an hour or two wandering around. Inside there are a couple of cafes and plenty of toilets so you're able to take a break and enjoy the greenery. For the kids there are a few animal enclosures scattered about, like goats and rabbits etc and play areas for them to have a bit of fun. There's lots of interesting features to the park for adults too, like the cactus exhibition and a few water gardens. We used it for family photo opportunities and got some great pictures around the park. Best of all for those on a tight budget, it's free, so definitely recommended

What a perfect way to wile away a few hours. Lush, green, plenty of places to sit, places to eat, a lake, all perfectly cared for. Such a treat. There is a most amazing tree... fig, I think. The cacti are worth seeing and admiring. A definite should do.

Spent a day in this beautiful park with 2 young children.....such a gorgeous place to visit The children had the freedom + safety to run around + enjoy themselves. We had a lovely lunch in one of the cafes. We saw some animals as in ducks, parrots and rabbits. Definitely worth a visit if in Benalmadena.

Nice, interesting park, very beautiful cactus and suculents collection, birds, goats. Pond, waterfall. Paths for walking. Chess tables. Playgrounds for kids. WC. We spent here very good time with kids, aged 5 and 2 years. And it is free of charge!

A really nice surprise, in the midst of all the high rise flats, hotels, and “touristic stuff”. Quiet, calm, beautifully laid out, and a pleasant retreat from the hustle and bustle of the beach front walkway and the main streets. Especially liked the cactus area and the quieter areas. 2 cafés inside the park for coffees, ices, snacks etc. And the necessary toilets, of course. Also enjoyed the “outdoor gyms” dotted here and there, and the huge head sculptures. Does get very busy with the local families enjoying it at weekends though..

This park is one of the best we have been in. Nice lake to see all the wildlife including the odd Terrapin. Plenty of wild life, parakeets,doves, pigeon etc. plus goats and chickens. Swings etc and cafe's and nice walks. Must see is the cactus garden it is one of the best we have seen. And it is all free and excellent day out for all the family.

We visited here to pass a few hours in the afternoon, the park is gorgeous and has a cafe on entrance and beside the play park. Our visited concentrated on the play park, which is large and well equipped for kids of all ages. Beside the park there is a cafe bar which sells reasonably priced food and drinks. I would like to return and explore more of the walks around the park as it was beautiful and well maintained. We walked to the marina afterwords which took about 30 minutes with kids. Highly recommend a visit here.

We are renting a condo near the park. We go by the park almost everyday and always find something new to see. We love the cactus section, and enjoy sitting on a bench to relax and hear the birds.
