We only spent four days in Benalmádena, the majority of the Sunday was spent here.. in heaven. Everything was aimed at relaxation, the music, the ambiance, the decor, the staff! I was in heaven from the minute I stepped in through the doors. I loved it, the pools were beautiful, the tea gorgeous and the lovely lady who provided the massage was amazing, she had short purple hair and I wish I could remember her name to give her the praise she deserves. I can’t wait to come back, thank you for a wonderful experience ❤️

This is a peaceful and atmospheric silent spa with 11th century style architecture. It is Arabic in style. Lighting with candles and diffused electric lights that have shades that reminds one of e.g. Turkey or Morocco. Float on waters of different temperatures, and open skin pores in the steam room. That is: Before/after receiving an excellent massage from Jose Garcia Calvente who checks whether the level of pressure is suitable or not. For me: it was just what was needed. Firm enough to start releasing the accumulated knots of tensions. Followed by green tea with mint and water in the "relaxing chamber". Written clear guidance in English would have made the visit more relaxing. For example: how to use the pools and steam in relation to having the massage. Also, to keep bikini on for the massage and how the therapist manages. My massage was for only the back of the body of my body. Perhaps this was because it was just for a half hour. I gave feedback regarding hand rails health and safety matter which was taken well, and hopefully will have been addressed. I most definitely will be going back to have the lengthier treatment that includes e.g. exfoliation followed by "30 minutes of deep hydration with Argan oil" . Bliss!

We were a bit doubtful of going to the place due some of the reviews we read here and in other sites. Then after digging a little bit, we found that the place was under new management and we decided to give it a go. The staff was very friendly with us and all the guest, but having tried other similar place I think they still would need to guide you a bit more. The premises are small if you compare them with other places in the coast, but they are good enough to pass a great couple of hours in there. We had a hammam ritual (skin exfoliation) and a oil massage and boy it was marvelous! Definitely give it a try, although be aware it doesn't have a parking so go a bit early to park in the streets near by.

The place is not very big, but it really is enough to chill for 1 - 2 hours. The ambience is great, with the typical morocan mellow light fittings. The massages are not great (very basic) and you are constantly being seeing by everyone in the spa while you are having it done, but you kind of forget about it , as you can not see anybody given the position of the couches. Just do not expect a brilliant massage. The place is quite dated now, they do not seem to clean it often enough and there is a lot of areas moulded and peeling off. The tea room is quite a cozy room too, where they normally serve 2 kinds of tea. Overall, it is a nice place to unwind and relax, just bare in mind is dated and needs better maintenance
