Visiting family in Hungary again

The aqua park is huge, there are plenty of places to eat and drink, entertainment and fun.
Cleanliness and maintenance leave a lot to be desired, quite expensive by Hungarian standards (my grandma went there once because entry is really expensive for locals)
We were there yesterday, paid the full entrance fee even though 3/4 of the pools (restaurants and shops) were already drained. No information or anything else anywhere
The place itself has a lot to offer though and delicious wine cellars

Its big. Really big, in territory, in services. But one must know - here you cannot pay for different services just by wrist-band, you have to take your wallet or bank card into beach and spa areas with you to get out the most the place can afford.

We are visiting the country for the summer and we decided to drive down to Hajduszoboszlo. I was amazed how big the spa is. There are a bit of places for everybody and all ages. The downside is that you’ll be charged for every single thing but it is affordable. We had a good experience and we will be back for several days during our visit.
Many places now offers card and contactless payments; however, keep couple thousands of forint near because some places only accept cash.

We wanted to have a nice time in the aquapark
Tried the back one orange and red half pipe slide in the back. We got hit by others because the woman (staff) let the others go while we were still in the half pipe. Her intention was nothing she didn't even wanted to help us by dragging our douple float. I thought they are there taking responsibilities but obviously not.
Never go back there.

We loved it!
We went there with kids in the age of 2, 7, 17. All enjoyed!
The facilities were various and all clean.
We bought the tickets for the entire park, but the "basic" would have been enough as there are already enough pools and stuff. Considering the prices, basic would have been a better option, as well.

Try this spa from Hungary with more than 30 ha of surface size, many pools with different size and water. A minus is regarding the ticket for inside aqua palace can not be used also outside are, you have to pay 2 tickets for this.

The Spa has been renewd in 2002. The spa is good, little worned. The qualty of the water is excellent. The sauna part is small, overcrowded and should be cleaner. The advantage of this magnificant water should be much better used.

We visited the Hungarospa in July with my husband and two 6-year old kids. We planned to stay here for 10 days, but already on the day 2 I was ready to pack my suitcase and return back home. The reason we chose this place was I was here about 30 years ago and I remember it as a wonderful and fun place. Unfortunately, nothing has changed ever since. The pools are old and not taken care of, the paint from the pool sticks to your swimming shorts and bikinis and water is dirty. When you come out of the pool, your body stinks and looks like coming out from the sea. However, those are the chemicals that leave marks on your skin. My daughters started to have urinal infection the second day, my husbands eyes infected almost immediately after spending time in any of the pools. Place for relaxation in not better either. Where is no watering system therefore the grass was completely burnt from the sun and we ended up laying on the ground in dust. Food offered there was probably the biggest disaster I have ever seen. Quality was very, very poor. Before coming I really looked forward to Hungarian cousine, but this was something you would not want to eat at all. Overall, our experience was very negative. We visited the neighbouring Aquapark at least 5 times because we could not stand the dirty place the regular pool park offers. Aquapark is a little better but still not comparable with other modern aquaparks in Hungary and other countries.

This park was the reason why we visited, it is a big area with lots of pools and nothing else, you pay once to enter to use some pools, then to use the larger pools you have to pay again.
If you have kids they will enjoy it, but the slides are nothing compard to any you find here in the UK, most swimming centers have these slides, but what i found was that once you left your hotel restaurants, these places were not respectful to English people as tourists, they were rude and over charged if they could.
This place though you will spend the whole day there, so take a packed lunch as well.
Never ever say Thank You when you pay your bill if there is change to come, because they take the words, Thank you to mean, Keep the Change.

We had fun
Maybe 5-7 bath areas ( it is winter so only indoor is open)
Smoking outside or above 2nd floor on the terrace
Decent, inexpensive, cantina type food
Not sparkly clean, but alright
Good, big parking
If not crowded then it is OK
But honestly, you should not consider it a big reason to visit Hungary
English, Deutsch, Romanian, Hungarian menu/info
Easy to navigate
Warm water ( that is important in the winter!)
Open on Sundays
