This mosaic of different destinations offers a multitude of different ambiances and atmospheres that also reflect the changing architectural styles of winter sports resorts since 1961. Most of La Plagne’s villages were designed by architect Michel Bezançon.La Plagne is part of the Paradiski area and therefore is one of the large ski resorts and is also a family-friendly resort with adapted package offers.

Huge ski resort with few bottlenecks, crowd spread over wide area. Slopes are rather wide, exclusive nature slopes are superb

Expansive well linked area. A good variety of runs to suit all abilities. Area well sign posted. There is also an excellent shuttle bus system linking all areas apart from Belle Plagne. On mountain restaurants tend to cater for full meals and less so for lunchtime snacks.Having said that food is of a high quality.

We've been repeat visitors at La Plagne for more or less 25 years now, originally with our three kids, and now with their own children. We've been to other skiing resorts over that period, but we've made up our minds that if it's going to be a hassle-free ski vacation, La Plagne is the place to go. Everything works, everything... More than enough interesting terrain for a week's skiing. Shame about the architecture - some of the worst French brutalist style I've seen.

great runs .It is so big sometimes you feel lonely never stand in line. Night life or apreski is not la plagne forte. Although you can find a few bars and restaurants,it is not a party town. came to relax with your family or spouse.

We have just come back from a weeks late skiing in La Plagne, we stayed in Chalet Perrier in Plagne 1800, what a lovely little village. The conditions were great for the time of year but then again it has a glacier and is high altitude skiing. All of the accommodation is chalet catering and the ski slopes are not... More

We've had at least one week a season for 20 of the last 33 seasons in La Plagne. It has always been very good but the new lifts in the last few years allied to the re-shaping of awkward spots on pistes eliminating bottlenecks and just making the experience more enjoyable is to be applauded. We ski several other resorts... More

La Plagne just keeps getting better. The ESF is so dedicated. The whole station is friendly and user friendly and the restaurants and bars are many and varied.
