We visited in French October half term holidays. It was warm enough to sit on the beach with plenty of space around - particularly if you were happy to walk a bit further than most people.
There is a car park very close to the...More
The beach itself is huge so if you don’t do like most people and pile up on top of each other at the beach entrance but instead decide to walk 3 mins more, you will have plenty of space for yourself. The sand is beautiful,...More
A beautiful beach with its own lovely lagoon. How romantic! But wait.. There's a notice on the beach warning that dogs are not allowed. What a joke! It's completely ignored by everyone. Some dogs are out of control - making unwelcome approaches, sniffing round people's...More

As far as I know, there is a notice on the beach which clearly states that dogs are not allowed. However this seems to be largely ignored, t the extent that some dogs are becoming a nuisance, both defecating on the beach and in the water, and are constituting a health threat.
