We visited in French October half term holidays. It was warm enough to sit on the beach with plenty of space around - particularly if you were happy to walk a bit further than most people. There is a car park very close to the...More

Big sandy beach with small rock pools at low tide. Great parking and beach bar. Accessible by car, cycle or walking. Good for small children, shallow sea for a fair way out.

The beach itself is huge so if you don’t do like most people and pile up on top of each other at the beach entrance but instead decide to walk 3 mins more, you will have plenty of space for yourself. The sand is beautiful,...More

A beautiful beach with its own lovely lagoon. How romantic! But wait.. There's a notice on the beach warning that dogs are not allowed. What a joke! It's completely ignored by everyone. Some dogs are out of control - making unwelcome approaches, sniffing round people's...More

We visited here several times : long sandy beach, rock pools when the tide goes out, surfing, bodyboarding and kayking all enjoyed on the rolling waves. Well supervised and great cafes but also big enough to get away on your own.

Fantastic beach for young families. The water is really quite shallow as it goes out and the waves aren’t too high. Loads of space on the beach and good amenities. Parking can get busy but if you don’t mind spending 4 euros there is a...More

It’s a huge beach and the best part is further south from the car parks accessed via the Forrest. It’s on an estuary. Beware though as it’s very tidal. Fine white sand though. We will be back next summer

Stunning beach. Even when busy there is loads of space. Only advice is the carpark fills up quickly but if you are happy to pay €4 for a days parking there is a private carpark which always has available space.

As far as I know, there is a notice on the beach which clearly states that dogs are not allowed. However this seems to be largely ignored, t the extent that some dogs are becoming a nuisance, both defecating on the beach and... More
