The Jean-Baptiste Adam cellar offers a refined selection of wines that reflect the rich tradition and know-how of Alsace. Our attention to quality and craftsmanship is reflected in every sip. From fruity Rieslings to elegant Pinot Gris, each wine is a masterpiece in itself. The family atmosphere and respect for the terroir add an extra dimension to the experience. A visit to this cellar is a must for Alsace wine lovers and an opportunity to taste the true essence of the region.

Excellent modern Alsace wines made by one of the biodynamic pioners of Alsace. Jean-Baptiste and Laure Adam are very dedicated to quality. Nice walk in tasting room and wine store. Worth to visit nearby Grand Cru vineyard with historic particularity of Gewürz-Riesling blend.

Me and my wife visited today in Jean Baptiste Adam cave. There was a lovely lady with good knowledge and we enjoyed very much the cellar tour and the family history. We also had super service with wine tasting by this lady and we bought some good and tastefull wines back home! A happy couple from Finland 😁

Stop in for a tasting, very nice tasting hostess. Excellent wine, great smooth flavors and nose on the wines. We were lucky enough to purchase several bottles!
Highly recommend!

Every time we go to the Elzas, we stop here to replenish our wine cellar with excellent Riesling or a Cremant.

Cave Jean Baptiste Adam has been in business for over 400 years. They have been under German rule and French rule and German rule and French rule and never went out of production.

They offer traditional Alsacian wine varieties of very good quality and for a very fair price. The do have distribution in the U.S.A. in certain areas. Touring the caves is available. There is a great variety of white wines to taste here and two types of pinot noir.

It is not prohibited for children to accompany parents for a wine tasting, but I would highly suggest if you do take them to make them act appropriately and not allow them to run free to disturb others.

As for history, there are on display original documents going back over 400 years, antique furniture, tools and art.

There is a wine bar, small wine tasting area and big wine tasting room for larger groups but I believe the bigger room needs to be reserved in advance.

We really appreciated the taste quality of the wines and actually left with bottles but the reception disappointed us. We expected more warmth and support and less condescending advice. It's a shame.
